Nice construction looks good. If you donât get the full XL mattress, itâll be about a foot short.

Cracked piece/company wonât replace
We were originally thrilled with the setup, but upon crawling out of the bed I noticed there was a crack on a top piece. Amazon did offer to send someone to pick it up, but that would require taking down all of the bed vs just one part. When I contacted the company they claimed they couldnât find my order after providing all available tracking information. From there they officially ghosted my emails three times.Unless youâre prepared to tear down the whole bed system, have your kids go without a bed, and get zero help from the company if there is an issue, I would NOT purchase this item. Or ANY item from MERAX.

Sturdier than the metal beds. Also fairly simple to put together. The hardest part was getting the top and bottom connected.

Have had it over a month now. Really like the look of it. It definitely has an off gassing smell for a bit. In my opinion, it doesnât come with enough slats so I bought some similar size wood and made more. Overall I think itâs nice.
