Great for older dog
We got these for our 10 year old doberman who’s been having issues getting up and down the stairs. Also hoped it would keep our other dog from flinging herself down the stairs and hoping for the best. She still does that but our doberman has a much easier time navigating the stairs. These are truly a lifesaver for him since he recently fell trying to go up the stairs. They do wrinkle up and move backwards the more you walk on them hence the reason for 4 stars

Feels like a mousepad
The design looked like what was advertised, and the rubber backing did indeed grip the ground well. However, to call these non-slip would be wrong. As I wrote in the title, walking on these feels like walking on mousepads. In particular, I didn’t feel any better traction from the tread; it felt like my foot could (and did) easily slip off. In the end I didn’t end up using these because the smooth wood of my stairs somehow had more grip than these offered.

Work as advertised.
When I opened this package and saw that the treads were folded back on each other, I was afraid that they would create a tripping hazard by not laying flat. Happily, they lay flat instantly, and didn’t move on the step unless I picked one up to reposition it. They give some cushioning as I go up and down the stairs, and provide plenty of traction in stocking feet. And they are attractive as well! Good product.

What I like: These no-slip treads are the perfect size for the stairs to the basement in my house, stay in place without adhesive, provide sure footing and are easy to clean.What could be improved: Of all the designs I thought I would like the blue the best, but the design is coarse and lacks color depth. As a result, the treads are not particularly nice to look at.

I was initially a little disappointed because these were not carpet and came folded in half. As someone else said, they are essentially large mouse pads. But you know what, they work great. They are easy to install, just space them out and lay them down. They look great and you get a lot for your money. I have them on a handicap ramp. They keep us from slipping and are easy to remove if we have to. Just pick them up. They are truly non slip.
