Bought 4 sets of these for our living room and office. They’re heavy and solid wood. Very easy to install as long as you hit 2 studs. We had a very specific spot where we wanted them and we’re only able to hit one stud for a couple of the shelves. Those were not as sturdy. The ones with 2 studs are solid! We love the look of them and would totally recommend.

I love how the shelves look in our space! They are pretty lightweight so not the best quality wood but they look good for the price. We got shelf brackets that we put on the ends for extra support. Without those it was drooping down a little even without a ton of weight on them but now they are very sturdy. Overall I really like them!

Much better than floating shelves
These are excellent quality, easy to put together, very sturdy, and lightweight. Great price for actual wood shelf with substantial metal brackets. It was a bit challenging to screw the lower screws with the bracket getting in the way slightly. But overall, great for what we needed.

Great Display Shelf
We wanted a large shelf to display family photos in our living room. This fits perfectly above our sofa and looks great. It looks like solid wood but is very lightweight and easy to install. Installation is best done by two people because the length of the shelf makes it a bit hard for one person to handle. The directions are straightforward and the hardest part is locating the studs and deciding on the height position. The width is great to hold a series of 8 x 10âs. We are very happy with our purchase and recommend it to others.

1 Star – Multiple Reasons – Read On for Clues & Warnings
– if you want shelves for books, these shelves will be a disaster.- If you want shelves for any sentimental or valuable items, these shelves will be a disaster.- if you want them for invaluable, very lightweight or very few items, then these shelves might be ok.- While the description states that the approx 30â bracket is metal, it doesnât show that the bars are hollow. In all the installs of shelves over the decades, Iâve never come across a slightly bendable bracket. That means that it doesnât offer enough strength to handle any kind of weight on the shelf.- The photos look like the black bracket is solidâit is not.- while the white shelves have a nice grain kind of look, they are equally flexible.- After screwing into one stud, using two toggle bolts (which I used for closet systems throughout my house), and cured Loctite behind the bar, the bracket still has some movement toward the front of the bracket.- if you want a shelf that is no longer than 36â-48â, then the bracket bar may be long enough.- I purchased the 54â shelf and the bracket bar was only 30ââcrap for a longer shelf.I would find something of much better quality. These are a joke.

Love the shelves. Replaced several old Ikea bookcases. We have less space than the bookcases but we like these shelves and they look great on the wall. We are downsizing and becoming minimalists and these shelves are helping us do this. Would recommend.
