highly satisfactory
I’ve started a process of replacing my old, cheap, stainless steel pots with more modern, higher-performing pots. After reading a million written reviews and watching a million video reviews of high end stainless steel pots from major name brands, I chose to buy a small one of these Slotted brand pots, that I’d never heard of, but which looked good, and seemed to have the features I wanted, at a very reasonable, non-astronomical price.I’ve been so happy with the first one I bought, that I’ve since bought a second one in a different size, and a frying pan, and this saute pan from this company. So far I’m very happy with the quality, constuction, finish, weight, balance, handle, and performance of these items.

Gorgeous sear with first dish of Swedish meatballs
I have never had a pan that has done such a beautiful sear on a meatball. I do credit a lot of that with the fairly robust details for care and using it to cook that are included. I actually saved the little tool used to put the nuts on to secure the handle and with that I saved the little instruction and care manual that came with it. To put on the handle, I slid it onto the two bolts coming out of the pan and then I hand tightened the nuts until I felt resistance. Then I went back and used the tool to tighten them the rest of the way. The handle is attached really nicely. It didnât wiggle or move at all when I held the pan by the handle and kind of wiggled it around. When I put some oil and started cooking on my gas stove, I started around four or five and then brought it down to a three or four once I put the meatballs in. When I added the sauce, I kept it on low. I then added some of the pasta and pasta water into the meatballs and sauce for a beautiful coating of the pappardelle noodles. I did that on about a one or two on our gas range. It truly looked like a nice restaurant dish. The sauces came out, phenomenal mixed beautifully not at all overheated or separating. It coated the pasta and the meatballs perfectly. The meatballs were cooked so thoroughly and really an incredibly wonderful lunch.Iâm absolutely thrilled with this new pan. I have previously had stainless steel pans that were multiples more expensive than this. Iâve never had such an easy time cleaning the pan. It could just be that the other pans did not have enough instructions for me to understand how to use and take care of them best. I really do appreciate that little info booklet included with this pan. After use, I removed it from the burner it had been on to let it come to room temperature. After my lunch, I brought my pan to the sink and I use the soft side of a cellulose sponge only with some natural dish soap and warm water. It cleaned up beautifully. The final pictures of what it looked like after cleaning is the last photo I uploaded. For long time use of a stainless steel pan I would wash by hand, let it cool before washing. I would hand wash and not use the dishwasher to give it a longer lifespan.I would go out of my way to recommend this to people. I would absolutely order this as a gift if we had any friends or family that were needing a new sauté pan.

Beautiful, Highly Functional, Cooking Tool
What a wonderful Sauté Pan this is!! All Stainless Steel, beautiful with a High-End performance. This 5 qt, stainless pan has a helper handle at the opposite end of the long handle, enabling the user to hold pan and contents securely. The glass lid fits well and of course allows you to simmer without splattering about. 500 Degrees? That’s enough for my little kitchen; in addition, you can pop it right in the dishwasher. However, I do prefer to hand wash it. The dishwasher is rough on things. Treating this pan well is my motto for preserving it for many years. Clean up is a breeze without hard work & no matter what type of cooking surface you have, this pan is compatible.I have another 5 qt sauté pan which I will now discontinue utilizing. It is treated with a non-stick surface and I don’t know about the rest of you but I don’t trust non-stick surfaces any longer with all the negative scientific results over the last decade. With my new Sauté pan, nothing comes in contact with my food except the stainless steel pan so I know that it is safe for my family. The instructions for use should be carefully read to extend the life of your cooking instrument. Cooling the pan naturally before splashing cold water on it when hot is undesirable & will reduce the longevity of any pan. There are no rivets in this pan to get loose and fall out. Everything is tightly secured with threaded stainless steel screws and nuts that are tightened during the assembly. Yes, you control the tightness, not an irreplaceable rivet installed at a factory some 10 years earlier! That is a BIG plus for me! In summary, I like EVERYTHING about this Sauté Pan by SLOTTET and I think you will too. I have given this product a full FIVE STAR REVIEW!!

A high-quality, durable addition to any kitchen
This Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Sauté Pan is a high-quality, durable addition to any kitchen, designed for both home cooks and professionals. Right out of the box, it has a solid, well-balanced feel, with a 5-quart capacity thatâs perfect for deep sautéing, frying, and simmering. The tri-ply construction is a standout featureâthe 18/10 stainless steel interior ensures safe, non-reactive cooking, the aluminum core provides fast and even heat distribution, and the magnetic stainless steel exterior makes it compatible with all stovetops, including induction. The 2.2mm thickness gives it a sturdy, warp-resistant build that feels more premium than standard cookware. The silicone-coated handle stays cool during cooking, offering a comfortable, secure grip. The rivet-free design inside makes cleaning a breezeâno hidden spots for food buildup. Plus, itâs oven safe up to 500°F and dishwasher safe, adding to its convenience.Compared to other stainless steel pans, this one stands out for its superior heat retention, thicker construction, and easy maintenance. The only minor downside is that stainless steel requires proper preheating and oiling to prevent sticking. But for anyone looking for a versatile, long-lasting sauté pan, this is a fantastic investment for everyday cooking.
