Does not cave in
I was hesitant to purchase these because of the reviews saying that the sides cave in. This is incorrect. When these are delivered, the square that you push into the box to keep it from folding in on itself is stored in the lid. It appears these other reviewers did not construct theirs correctly. The extra storage is great and they are comfortable to sit on and hold me (200 lb). Great purchase.

Looks ok, sturdy with decent capacity
It was incredibly easy to assemble, took all of 30 seconds. It looked very small, but I have been able to fit 2 average and one extremely thick blanket inside. Appearance wise, it’s average. Nothing striking about it yet it’s not unattractive. Average would be a good description. The lid has some padding for sitting or resting feet. Reasonably comfortable and significantly more sturdy than I expected based on assembly. For this price point, it’s a good value. While I would not call it a focal point to my decor, I like having an easily accessible place to store my blankets and reduce the clutter in the living room.

Nice little storage-box that doubles as an ottoman
This storage box is pretty nice looking, especially given how modestly priced it is — with its soft “teddy fleece” sides, it looks like a fairly decent piece of furniture. It’s small for an ottoman, but it works — it’s tall enough to prop your feet on as a footrest when you’re sitting on the couch or in a chair, it’s relatively comfortable to sit on as an impromptu seat (handy for playing a game of cards or a board game with my kids on the floor, without having to sit all the way down on the floor, which can be tough to get up from with my creaky old legs haha).And since it’s rated to hold up to 660 pounds, theoretically it should work great as a step-stool tool — although when I stood on it, I felt like I probably shouldn’t be standing on it for too long, if you know what I mean — I’m over 6′ tall, and this just didn’t feel like the strongest or most balanced stool under my height and weight; but it should be fine in a pinch, and especially good for kids maybe. (I’ll probably use this ottoman in our kids’ room or our basement TV room, where we can store a couple of blankets in it and random games and toys my kids have left out; and my kids will likely end up using it as a step-stool and/or miniature chair).I am a little worried about longevity — the box is only made out of MDF Fiberboard, not solid wood; I wouldn’t be surprised if it cracks eventually. Likewise, the fuzzy white surface coverings look like they could be tricky to clean if they get dirty. And the entire box is collapsible if you don’t have the bottom board firmly pressed down — this is a positive if you’re planning on folding the box up and putting it away when not in use; and it makes it easy to assemble/reassemble as needed — but ultimately that also lends to the box feeling more like a temporary storage solution than a high-end piece of furniture.(And in the context of being a storage box — I kinda wish it had handles on the side — even though that might make it less aesthetically pleasing, I’ve realized that picking up this box and moving it around is a little bit awkward without handles, especially once it’s filled with stuff.)As purely an ottoman I’d probably give this a lower rating — but as a versatile and nice-looking box that’s priced rather cheaply, I think it’s a good deal… There are nicer storage ottomans in the world, but not at this modest price. Within that context, I think it’s nearly perfect for what it is — although how long it holds up and how hard it turns out to be to clean will impact my long-term evaluation.

Sturdy – Soft – Holds Alot
I needed something in my kidsâ room to store their games, puzzles, etc. I came across this storage ottoman bench and thought it would work great â and it did! The ottoman came compact, upon inserting the bottom panel the ottoman was good to go. Whoever designed this knew that using something like this for storage, sometimes you want to divide the space or use smaller trays to hold other items. It is extremely versatile with smaller compartments that secure to the sides with heavy duty Velcro. The divider insert uses Velcro as well to hold itself up within the storage area. I was a bit concerned that it would be heavy to take upstairs to the kidsâ room, however it was exceptionally light to carry. The lid is made with MDF panels so there is some weight to that portion, but not enough to make it an issue. I found the materials used to be very sturdy and love the soft fleece fabric. I have a storage ottoman, and it is super heavy, and honestly, I hate having to move it. This storage bench ottoman is perfect, and I can see getting another for other rooms. The best part is if I didnât need it, I could fold it compact again and store it easily. Well built, easy to assemble, and is a nice-looking piece of furniture.

Love This
This is a neat little footrest-hiding spot! I like the fluffy covering on it. It’s a great color and goes with my furniture. There’s enough room in it to put a couple throw pillows or a blanket, books, remotes, or other smaller things. The handle on top is just decoration. No assembly required. It just falls into place. The sides do collapse inward when it’s new, but it doesn’t once you put stuff in it. It’s made of nice material and has a durable feel to it. Great for a small apartment or room.
