Benefits & Use Cases
This mini electric drill excels in environments where precision and portability are paramount. It’s particularly effective in electronics repair and prototyping, allowing users to drill clean holes in circuit boards without damaging surrounding components. Jewelry makers appreciate its ability to engrave fine details and create small channels in beads or metals, while model builders use it for trimming, sanding, and shaping lightweight materials like balsa wood or acrylic. The included variety of bit sizes ensures compatibility with different project scales—smaller bits for delicate work, larger ones for slightly tougher materials. Its quiet operation and consistent speed make it suitable for indoor crafting sessions without disturbing others.
Because of its simple operation, even beginners can achieve professional-looking results quickly. No assembly is required; simply insert a bit, plug in the power supply, and begin working. The tool’s low torque prevents over-drilling or splintering in fragile substrates, giving users confidence when working on valuable projects. Its small size also makes it perfect for travel—ideal for artists who bring their tools to workshops or makerspaces.
Important Notes & Usage Tips
To ensure optimal performance and safety, always install drill bits straight into the chuck. Misaligned bits may cause vibration, reduced efficiency, or premature wear. If the drill intermittently stops during use, check the power plug for dust or debris buildup and clean it gently with a dry cloth. Never pull the power cord directly when unplugging—grasp the plug itself to avoid damaging internal wiring. While designed for general DIY use, this tool is not intended for industrial or heavy-duty applications involving hardened steel or high-speed continuous operation. Avoid applying excessive force during drilling, as the motor is optimized for light to moderate loads. For best longevity, store the drill and accessories in a dry place and keep the bit tips clean and free from metal shavings.

A neat little drill for soft materials
This little thing works ! I use it to drill into plastic, dry clay, and soft wood. It drills a neat little hole with just a touch of patients. You need to go a bit slow and not push to hard. It generates heat so some plastic materials will just melt! But that is to be expected. Itâs a sweet little drill for $20 and works for me and my little earring crafts (^:!It does not work on glass or metal at all. Unless it happens to be a very soft metal. Harder woods are also not meant to be drilled with this.

First drill bad, replacement great!
This at first looked like the best answer to drill Pearls. The drill bits that came with the kit dont all fit. I can put the smaller in diameter in and tighten as much as possible, but when I am right in the middle of drilling the bit falls out. UPDATE. The seller kindly contacted us about the problems and sent a replacement drill. The new drill holds all the supplied diameter bits and works well. This is a budget friendly, easy to use unit that will fit the bill for many hobbyists. Thank you to the seller for making this right.

Product is a Piece of Trash
I received this product and upon opening it was very cheap looking but knowing I did not pay a lot I accepted it as it worked when I plugged it in. However, don’t try and use ANY of the tiniest drill bits as the drill does not tightly close down around them and they spin out as soon as you turn machine on. So I really could only get maybe the largest 4 bits to hold for a few moments but even those needed tightening after couple of seconds. I have only used it twice prior to today and upon trying to use it today the power cord once connect just started rolling around and around and I noticed the connector on the drill just spun. Thought it just came unscrewed, but NOPE……its broke. I tried promptly emailing the seller and got a instant reply that my message could not be sent as their is a problem with the recipients email. Tried contacting support at Amazon like the email suggested and Customer Service Rep DANA was less than helpful. Tells me to hold for 2 days as my email did go through or should have gone through as she sees they are still active on her end. I tried reading her the message I got word for word and she said Wait, as the seller has time. I will be figuring out a way to file bigger complaints against seller and CSRep for Amazon as this is just poor service and poor product being sold.

pros and cons
The product comes with 3 length sizes: small, medium & large of 5 drill bits each.I tried the small drill bit, and it doesn’t work. Unless the drill bit is secure, you basically don’t have a drill. So, after studying the products and its components, it appears the large size drill bits have the same circumference as the circumference (hole ) size on the collet. I tried this size, and Viola it worked !! I didn’t even have to use the L wrench to secure the drill bit. Works really well with my pearls. Drilling causes friction and heat, so you have to pause every 1 minute or so. The large large drill bit is a 1.2 mm. Maybe I can get the smallerdrill bits of .08 & .09 mm to work later. For now the 1.2 mm works just fine. So ok for the price ! Thanks Amazon !

Amazing! With some tiny drawbacks.
Gonna preface this by saying that I’m truly gutted by the fact that I never had the good sense to buy something like this YEARS ago.Pros: super fast! It’ll drill a hole in resin for an eyepin in literally a second. Very easy to change out the drill bits, too! Works right out of the box, very intuitive to use. As soon as I used it, I was overcome with an emotion I can only describe as “angry regret” over how much of my life I’ve spent hand-cranking a tiny drill.Cons: Had to mark the “on” and “off” positions of the power switch myself with a sharpie. Doesn’t have variable speed settings, you get one speed and you’re gonna like the speed you get. The weirdly slippery casing with no grip surface and the fact that it’s SO lightweight make me feel like I’m gonna drop it. If you have large hands, it may be awkwardly small for you. The power cord is also awkwardly short, so keep an extension cord or power strip on your desk or workbench well within arm’s reach.Overall, it’s a resounding 5/5 from me. None of the cons negatively impact the device’s ability to function, and are easily dealt with by customizing it to your needs. I’ll probably put a few strips of grip tape around it so I don’t feel like it’ll slide out of my hands, and that’ll be that.

It keeps coming off
I love the different sizes this brings, and I use one of the smaller ones. When I’m drilling it works perfectly, super easy and fast. But two things, the cord is so short I have to drill on the floor because it doesn’t reach the top of my desk, and secondly the drill’s screw keeps coming off. When I’m done drilling and pull the drill out, the whole screw comes off and I have to take the machine apart to put it back in place. I personally had to tighten the grip by using tools I had available. A little annoying, but still works.

Tough little guy
I needed a drill to make earrings and this little thing was perfect for the job. The cord is a bit short so finding somewhere I could comfortably use it was a bit difficult but thatâs just about the only complaint. So far Iâve only tested it on plastics but as smooth as it went through I donât doubt it can handle stronger materials. Naturally a machine like this will get hot so when using on plastic there is the risk of it melting and harden around the drill bit which did happen a couple of times, but getting it off only required a bit of cutting and peeling. An easy fix but if youâre not careful it could change the shape of the hole youâre making into something less uniform.Finding an affordable hand drill had been a struggle for a time so I was very happy to stumble across this item. Overall Iâm very happy with this purchase and recommend it.

Wish I’d bought this sooner!
This tool is exactly what I’d hoped for. As a maker who works from the the kitchen table, this tool is perfectly compact yet powerful. The variety of drill bits was a bonus, and the motor is perfect for drilling through 16 gauge sheet metal. Great value.
