Great motion sensor
My closet lacks built-in lighting, and the nearby lights arenât sufficient. I mounted the included bracket on the ceiling while charging the light via USB. The charging indicator turns red while charging and green when complete, and it took less than an hour to fully charge. The light is about the size of a large soup bowl and twists onto the bracket like a smoke detector. It has three modes: ‘sun,’ which activates with motion regardless of ambient light; ‘moon,’ which activates only in darkness; and an ‘always on’ option. The motion sensor works instantly and turns off after a few seconds without detecting movement. It came with only two mounting screws instead of four, but they seem secure enough.This light has been perfect for my closet and unlit stairwell, where Iâve added recessed pantry shelving. After dusk, I used to need a flashlight, but this light now activates as I approach and provides sufficient brightness for the space. A great, functional solution!

Equipped with a motion sensor, it turns on when it senses movement, stays on briefly, then turns off.The unit is comprised of 2 pieces, a base that installed on the ceiling and the light itself. The light attaches to the base with a simple twist, allowing for easy removal when charging is necessary.Loaded with features, this light has 3 modes (day, night & always on) and 3 light settings (bright/cool & 2 warm/dim).I got this light for my pantry, which does not have an electrical hook-up, but needs more light. The light is plenty bright enough to illuminate the entire space.Installation was quick and easy. Deducting 1 star because only 2 screws were included in the box, not 4. I completed the job with extra hardware I had on hand.Great value! I plan to order another for the hall closet.

Bright and portable
The light is basically good to use right out of the box. The instructions say to drill the holder into where you want to place the light, but I just used doubld sided tape and it’s holding up great. It’s fairly simple to attach and detach. I personally don’t use the motion detection, although I did try the function and it seemed to work fine. I mainly use it as either a portable light source I can take around the house, or I’ll switch it on and put it in the holder to use as a wall lamp.Overall it’s simple and easy to use. Comes with cable for recharging.

What’s up with apartments seriously lacking lighting now a days? These lights have come in handy to replace the lack of lighting in my house. They are plenty bright enough, do not require any drilling or plugs as they’re rechargeable and easy to hang. Best part is they are motion activated! Ol about once a month I have to remove the outer shell and recharge the light but it’s not that inconvenient at $20 a pop.

Product delivers. Quality. Very bright, but 3 settings
This is the medium setting, it goes too bright for me, but 3 settings are nice. This one has a very sensitive sensor. It turns off after 10 seconds. We mounted it with the screws included, and it’s so light weight that it’s an easy mount anywhere. It’s easy to take off and charge although it stays charged for a long time, and we have grandchildren, dogs and our selves going up and down the stairs all the time. We returned 2 other sconce shaped ones because neither of them came on until you were on top of them, or falling down the stairs,and the mounts don’t stay up. Those were a different company.Will update if product fails to consistently deliver.

NOTE: The strobe effect in my video was caused by the fact that I was working under a fluorescent light. I am sensitive to strobe effects, and I cannot detect any such effect with this light otherwise.There are so many of these LED light “fixtures” available now, but without the ability to test circuitry for quality, it’s not really possible to review one of these comprehensively. Will it last a few months? A few years? At any rate, do think of these as temporary. You will need to replace it someday.This light has been perfect for my temporary need and has performed flawlessly for several weeks, and I am very impressed with it. I have a dark pantry passage with what are probably asbestos-containing ceiling tiles. I stuck this light onto those tiles with 3m VHB tape, thereby not disturbing them. I set it to the warmest color temperature, the brightest light, and with the motion sensing mode set to daylight. (That means, this light goes on when it detects motion, even if it’s not dark. It also has a motion detection setting that makes it work only in the dark.) I walk back and forth through this passage all day and now I can see where I’m going without having to do a thing. It turns itself off after a few moments efficiently as well. Otherwise, it has ON and OFF, but the switch for all of this is on the back side of the light so you can’t get to it when it’s mounted, and there’s no remote control. Other lights of this kind do come with remotes and are at about the same price. However, if what you need is the motion detecting aspect, this thing seems to be a workhorse.A task light this is NOT, unless you have very sensitive eyes. It is rated at a maximum brightness of 280 lumens, which is equivalent to only about 35 watts incandescent. Due to camera limitations, many of the photos and videos make the light look much brighter than it really is. I doctored my photo to reflect the actual amount of light it puts out.Otherwise, this light comes with the usual, nearly impossible-to-decipher, microscopic instruction sheet, a short USB charging cord, and a couple of wall anchors with screws which should be adequate for holding it up.This thing has improved the quality of my life enormously, for now.
