Benefits & Use Cases
The Nero Cutlery Set is engineered to support a full range of kitchen activities. The chef’s knife is versatile enough to handle large vegetables, herbs, and proteins, while its balanced weight ensures comfortable control during extended use. The santoku knife—with its curved blade and fine tip—excels at precision slicing, dicing, and mincing, especially popular in Asian-inspired cuisine. The serrated bread knife glides through crusts without crushing delicate interiors, making it indispensable for fresh-baked loaves.
The utility knife bridges the gap between the chef’s knife and paring knife, perfect for cutting sandwiches, slicing tomatoes, or portioning meats. Meanwhile, the small paring knife handles intricate tasks like peeling fruits, coring apples, or de-veining shrimp. With six steak knives included, the set seamlessly transitions from meal prep to serving, offering guests a coordinated, polished dining experience.
The accompanying knife block not only adds a decorative touch to your countertop but also keeps blades safely stored and protected when not in use. Its compact footprint makes it suitable for kitchens of various sizes, from small apartments to larger homes. Whether you’re whipping up a weeknight stir-fry or hosting a dinner party, the Nero set delivers consistent sharpness, smooth handling, and a satisfying tactile response with every cut.
Care & Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Nero Cutlery Set, hand washing is strongly recommended. While the stainless steel and titanium coating provide good resistance to corrosion, prolonged exposure to moisture or improper drying can lead to tarnishing or rust spots, particularly if left unwashed overnight. After each use, rinse knives under warm water and dry them immediately with a soft cloth—do not air dry or leave soaking in water.
Avoid placing the knives in the dishwasher, as high heat and harsh detergents can damage the titanium finish and dull the blades over time. Store the knives in the provided block or use individual sheaths when possible. Regular maintenance will preserve both the sharpness and appearance of the cutlery, allowing you to enjoy its gourmet feel and reliable performance for years.
Important Notes
Some users have reported instances of rusting or tarnishing after washing and drying, though outcomes may vary based on water hardness and drying practices. While the overall quality and value are appreciated by many customers, opinions on stain resistance are mixed. This set is best suited for those who prioritize aesthetics and functionality and are willing to follow proper care instructions. No additional accessories or components are included beyond what is listed in the box.

1.5 years later and still going strong and love the look.
Purchased Dec. 10th 2021, as a Christmas present. Still going strong and sharp as of July 22nd, 2023.I will say that we use these knives sparingly (mainly in food preparation also). We also clean them and dry them by hand after we finish using them, unlike our “normal” knives we wait till after dinner and then through them into the dishwasher. Love the dark hammered look, and the darker wood stain as well. Definitely recommend.

Stays sharp, looks sharp.
I wanted to wait awhile to review these to make sure they wouldnât fall apart on me and they have surprised me. Some of the reviews were mixed so i wasnât sure about them but I can honestly say they are great! They have stayed sharp a very long time, easy to clean and they look great. The only thing I noticed is they donât like being soaked (which is every time my husband does the dishes so I canât complain ð¤·ð»ââï¸) Other than that, I havenât found anything wrong with them and we have been using them for months.

Only Okay
Had to return the first set because the finish on the block was terrible. The second set I received had a better block but still not great. The knives have been great so far. They look nice and are very sharp.

Have had for 5 years and itâs worth it!!!
Have had these knives for just over 5 years and absolutely love them! (With normal maintenance i.e. sharpening) The steak knives have a deep enough serrations so it cuts through meat really well! Though if they are submerged in water for a significant amount of time and not wiped and dried off properly it will leave permanent water marks and potentially rust

Beautiful and well made!
I had never intentionally bought knifes for myself before, always dull knifes or used or hand-me-downs. These knifes are so high quality, I am shocked I was even able to cut food at all before in comparison to these. They are solid and absolutely stunning. They are made from a singular piece of metal, which I like a lot, and are both lightweight and substantial. The block is beautiful and the knifes make such a great noise being pulled from the block. I am so happy I bought these, and with good care I’m hoping to have them around for a long time!

Fantastic Knives for the Price
We love these knives. They cut very well, are easy to keep honed, and are comfortable to use.A lot of the negative reviews complain about rusting, and those reviews come from people who aren’t taking care of the knives correctly. For those that don’t know, with nice knives, never put them in the dishwasher, and don’t let them sit in the sink soaking (or even just sitting dirty) overnight. Wash them with a soft sponge and dry them when you’re done. If you do that, they will last you a very long time. Also hone the edge every two or three uses, and you won’t have to break out the sharpening stones for a good while. These things are hold their edge very well.

Beautiful but rusted
These look beautiful, but they rust on the sharp edge. Itâs not a stainless steel.

Great set for the price !
Received this knife set today and couldnt be happier with the purchase. The block is nice solid wood, the knives came sharp as can be and look beautiful. Good weight to them and feel solid. For those complaining about rust etc. I just got them but I also know how to properly clean a decent knife set so we will see if i come across same issues. Great set for the price point for sure

Hermosos, fuertes y con mucha calidad. Lo recomiendo.

Tienen muy buen filo y se ven bien, lo único después de usarlos toca limpiarlos bien para que no se dañe su base.
Chazzybeanz –
The knives are very sharp and feel great but there seems to be a flaw in the design, there is a manufacturing edge where the blade meets the handle and its very pointy and sharp and digs into the hand while peeling, as you can see its not part of the sharpened blade, its more of a cut edge that should be rounded off, its most promanate on the paring knive in the picture above

Steal of a deal. Worth the price.
