This is a very nice knife set seems very good quality very sharp better than other knives that I have ordered in the Pastor bought in the past looks durable good quality made with good steel and itâs heavy not light like a cheap brands. I bought this set a few months ago. I am continually impressed with this set. Excellent quality, perfect weight for each knife, and super sharp (including the scissors). They make preparing meals so much easier. I highly recommend this set.

Nice Knives For The Money
I can’t say how well these knives will hold up over time, but out of the box they seem like they will do the job nicely. The handles and block are nice looking and sturdy. The handles could be a bit grippier, but are far from slippery and comfortable to hold. The blades seem well made, were sharp out of the box and I think they will hold their edge for a reasonable amount of time. I’m sure sharpening them will be a bit of a challenge as with any hard, cheaper steel. The selection of knives is great. I have already used the long, thin utility knife for a bunch of prep work with great results. Unless you are going to spend a few hundred dollars or more on some top quality knives, I think a set like this is the way to go. Mid range sets from name brands that go for closer to a hundred dollars are no better quality than this inexpensive choice.

Great set of knives
I bought these about a year ago for my short term rental and they have really held up. I know people are putting them in the dishwasher even though they aren’t supposed to, but the blades and handles still look great. They are also still very sharp. The only things I did to modify this great set was to spray paint the block black as the wood finish didn’t go with my decor. The other thing I did was to change out the steak knives. In contrast to the big knives, the serrated steak knives were cheap feeling and too weirdly serrated for my taste. I purchased a different set of steak knives that was higher quality and I really feel that this has made a very functional full set of knives any visiting chef could work with. I guess I should also add that my biggest pet peeve at any rental has been the totally crappy knives they seem to have, so I wanted to avoid that unpleasant experience my guests. I would definitely recommend these to anyone.

Really a good sharp set
Update 4 months: Daily use and the knives are holding up well. Have not needed to sharpen. No rust or discoloration either. We hand wash although we have left them to dry on occasion.Highly recommend.We have had this knife set for a little over a month, and use the knives daily.They arrived sharp out of the box. They have stayed sharp for the month of use.We hand wash and then dry the knives after each use. So far, so good there has been no staining of the blades for us.The wood block is solid and holds all of the knives well. We are pleased.The handles are plastic and feel a bit cheap when compared to other plastic handled knives (I think the gloss plastic is the issue, a more matte finish would have been better). This aesthetic does not affect the performance, which is very good.Overall this is an excellent value and is certainly in the upper end of the sub-$200 set price range.We recommend this knife set.I will update this review if anything changes.

Soy chef, por lo cual los cuchillos son una herramienta muy valiosa en mi vida diaria, he aprendido que con unas buenas piedras, afilado y cuidado constante, unos cuchillos no tan caros pueden tener el filo y uso de un juego del doble de precio, necesitaba un juego para uso diario, aunque exigencia baja, por ende ligeramente económicos, y éstos, salvo el mango de los de carne, son muy buenos, estéticamente tienen un diseño muy atractivo, la hoja es ligeramente más delgada de lo que estoy acostumbrado, por ende, más ligeros, considero que para trabajos sencillos o para una dama, son muy cómodos.Por el precio, estoy muy conforme con la compra.

it was a mom gift, and she is happy. They have nice handle grip and solid build.Just note that the 6 pieces of 4.5″ Steak Knives are serrated, and Make sure to keep the Wood Block away from high âhumidity & temperature or moisture from washed knives.
