Whether you’re furnishing a master suite, guest room, or apartment space, this bed frame provides a solid foundation for restful sleep. The included assembly tools make setup fast and frustration-free, so you can enjoy your new bed as soon as it arrives.
Key Features
- Reinforced Steel Construction: Built from heavy-duty steel slats and a robust frame structure, this bed base resists bending, sagging, and warping over time. It’s specifically designed to handle high-density mattresses without compromising support.
- Low Profile Design: At just 9 inches tall, this frame is ideal for elevating your mattress to a comfortable height while maintaining a minimalist aesthetic. The low center of gravity also enhances stability, reducing the risk of tipping.
- No Box Spring Required: This platform bed functions as a full-foundation mattress support system on its own. Simply place your mattress directly on the slat base—no additional box spring needed.
- Noise-Free Performance: The secure metal frame design minimizes movement and eliminates squeaking sounds, ensuring a quiet, undisturbed night’s sleep for light sleepers and couples alike.
- Easy Assembly: All necessary tools are included in the package, allowing for quick, tool-free assembly in under an hour. No professional help required—just follow the simple instructions provided.
- Protective Floor Design: The rounded corners on each leg reduce friction and prevent scuffing or damage to hardwood, tile, or carpeted floors, helping preserve both your flooring and the bed frame itself.
- Crossbar Support System: Enhanced crossbars increase surface area contact between the frame and mattress, improving weight distribution and preventing direct contact between metal edges and bedding or floor surfaces.

Benefits & Use Cases
This Hunlostten bed frame is engineered for practicality and peace of mind. Its reinforced slat system distributes weight evenly across the mattress, significantly extending its usable life by preventing premature sagging. This makes it especially suitable for heavier individuals or those using thicker, high-density mattresses.
The low 9-inch profile is not only visually appealing—it also makes getting in and out of bed easier for seniors, people with limited mobility, or anyone who prefers a lower sleeping surface. In smaller bedrooms or studio apartments, this compact design helps maximize floor space without sacrificing comfort.
Because no box spring is required, you save money and reduce clutter in your bedroom setup. The entire system rests securely on the frame, offering a stable, wobble-free surface that remains intact for years. The noise-free operation ensures that movement during sleep won’t disturb a partner, making it a smart choice for shared rooms.
Additionally, the protective leg design means you don’t have to worry about damaging delicate flooring finishes. Whether installed over hardwood, laminate, tile, or carpet, the rounded corners glide smoothly without leaving marks or scratches.
This bed frame is intended for indoor residential use only and should not be used outdoors or in commercial settings such as motels, hotels, or dormitories.
Important Notes
A soft box spring cover is not included with the bed frame. While the Hunlostten Queen Bed Frame can serve as a box spring replacement when used with one, customers must purchase a compatible soft cover separately if desired. These covers are widely available online or at furniture stores and are typically made of breathable fabric to allow airflow while adding extra cushioning between the mattress and frame.
Although all tools are included for assembly, we recommend reading through the full instruction manual before beginning setup to ensure proper alignment and maximum stability. Tightening all connections firmly during assembly is critical for optimal performance and safety.
This product has been optimized for residential home use and is not rated for frequent reassembly or relocation. Avoid stacking items on top of the frame beyond the weight of a standard mattress, as the design is engineered specifically for that purpose.

Very sturdy
I am a heavy set women and I can confidently say it holds up well, I would recommend you use it with a thick memory foam mattress. We had a 6 inch mattress then upgraded to a 12 inch one and that made a difference in the comfort of my back.

Platform bed
Very sturdy as I am a plus size person. The only issue I have is mattress has nothing to hook or tie to so slides when bumped.

It does the job.
It’s easy to put together. The only thing I wish was the bars were a bit wider. I wanted this for a futon but you feel every bar. I have cut down 1/4 inch plywood to place on top and that has helped with that issue.

Study and affordable
I’ve bought two other similar frames and this one is better than both. The other frames were prone to move around and at times would easily scratch the floor. This one stays in place and bars on the bottom help prevent from scratching the floor. I would recommended.

Height & sturdy
Is perfect height for my head board & footboard frame . Didnât like that all bars are not tied down only ends and middle others just sit on the metal frame .

It was quite easy to assemble this not requiring a lot of work that would come with something made of wood. Having the empty space below has been fantastic for storage, the frame is sturdy and hasn’t had any issues with it’s build, overall, I would say this frame is absolutely fantastic, it was quick to build, makes no noise when getting in the bed, and was well worth the money.

The reason I’m leaving a two-star review is because I didn’t realize how thin the slats are. Again I will be waiting to see if the company replies cuz maybe I am wrong about this but if you Google how wide slats should be for a mattress it’s 3/4 of an inch….. Sooooooo these slats are NOT ADEQUATE for your mattress. They are FAR too thin.A BOX SPRING IS STILL REQUIRED. but hey that’s not the end of the world. The reasons I will keep it is because I like the storage underneath and it is definitely quite sturdy. And it gets my mattress off the floor.I just wasn’t expecting to have to use a box spring as well…Also people said it was easy to set up but I for one had an immense struggle. It would definitely be easier if you had a ratchet instead of the included wrench.
