Benefits & Use Cases
This coffee table is designed for households seeking both form and function. In the living room, it serves as a central gathering point while discreetly housing remotes, magazines, and small electronics inside the cubes. The open cubbies allow you to showcase decorative items like plants or photo frames, while closed bins keep clutter out of sight. Its compact yet spacious design makes it especially useful in smaller apartments or studio spaces where every inch counts.
Beyond traditional coffee table use, the Jamestown stand excels as a media console for TVs or gaming setups. Its slight elevation ensures compatibility with most couches and recliners, and the flat top surface offers enough room for devices like soundbars or streaming sticks. At the foot of a bed, it becomes a convenient nightstand alternative, providing storage for books, tablets, or personal accessories without taking up too much floor space.
Vinyl enthusiasts will appreciate how the cube dimensions align perfectly with standard record storage solutions—ideal for organizing albums vertically or placing a turntable on top. The sturdy build supports heavier items without wobbling, ensuring safe storage for delicate equipment.
Important Notes
This product is constructed from engineered wood and laminate, which ensures durability while keeping the weight manageable for repositioning. While the surface is resistant to spills and light scratches, sharp objects should be avoided to prevent damage to the laminate finish. Assembly may be required, though specific instructions are not detailed in the provided content. Always measure your intended placement area before purchasing to ensure proper fit.

Pricey, but totally worth it for albums!
I bought this open storage table while it was on sale for about $70. I thought it was a bit pricey when I was buying it, but when I got it and put it together, it was totally worth it! When I got the box, it was damaged on one end, but I think that was the delivery company’s fault. As a result, a corner of each of the two largest pieces was bent in and broken. We looked at the rest of the pieces and they were fine. We were able to hide those corners. Assembly was a breeze, all parts and tools were included, and predrilled holes were present, clear and the correct size. It’s a very sturdy table! We use it for our vinyl album collection. We wanted something that was sturdy, lifted off the ground, and would fit under our entryway table (which is an odd, custom made size.) This table fit perfectly! (I would post a photo, but I don’t want to allow Amazon access to my camera or storage.) I still thought this was pricey for partical board, but the ashwood color fit perfectly with our floors, and fit as though it was custom made for us. It was worth every penny!

Pretty good table for the price
I filled this thing with a lot of books and it was very easy to assemble . Itâs a little small but not bad for the price of it . Iâd recommend as a starter table or just extra storage for books . Hoping it lasts but it seems to made very well and looks great

Nice little table
I bought this table as a stand for my new record player and it fits perfectly. It was fairly easy to assemble with one person but would be easier with two (to hold the sides together). It took me less than 30 mins. Itâs hard to tell in the pictures but it has a distressed look. I thought it got scratched up in the box at first, but thatâs how itâs supposed to look.

Great value for price point
Really easy to put together, and looks modern and stylish. Loved the first one so much I bought a second one almost immediately. I use one for my records and record player and it stores my records perfectly! Definitely recommend this shelf.

Exactly what I needed!
I’ve got around 100 vinyl records and, despite what other top reviews say, they fit perfectly with about a quarter inch to spare vertically. Even records that have slightly oversized cartons fit without issue. The records can be completely vertical and they still fit fine. I even have one old box set, and the box just barely fits without issue.Since the unit is made from a (very thin) steel frame with wood panels, there is a very small lip where the wood meets the metal, which is great since it prevents the records from being pushed out the back accidentally; they stop when pressed gently into the cubby. All parts fit together pretty well and for the most part the holes lined up perfectly when assembling.Directions are pretty straightforward and the item came packaged well. Would totally buy again or recommend to a friend. This was written just a little bit after putting it together, i’ll come back and update if I find some glaring issue with the product. I was able to assemble it easily without a second person.

Decent finished product, but terrible Q.C.
I gave it one star instead of a call to Amazon customer service because it looks good, and fits perfectly where I need it.I bought the half priced, “save with used” option. Apparently this seller has no quality control. It had no instructions. I was able to find them online, though… but then I found that the little tabs that hold the bottom shelf and top in place were reversed on one side. Meaning that one side, tabs would be top, while the other side they’d be on bottom. Instead of returning, waiting for a refund and buying something significantly pricier, I made it work (just had to rotate the pieces into place). I couldn’t use all supplied dowels, and had to drill my own holes, but I put the ‘tab up’ side towards the back so you can’t really see it.It looks cool, perfect for under a window. And yes, it holds records.
