$37.99
Product Overview
The HOMICHEF Stock Pot 6 Quart is a thoughtfully engineered piece of cookware designed for those who value both health and performance in their kitchen. Crafted from food-grade nickel-free stainless steel, this stock pot stands apart from conventional options by eliminating a known allergen and toxin commonly found in traditional stainless steel cookware. Ideal for everything from simmering rich broths to boiling large batches of pasta or vegetables, it delivers reliable, even heating with a focus on safety, sustainability, and everyday usability.
Key Features
- Nickel-Free Construction: Made with food-grade NICKEL FREE stainless steel, this pot avoids the potential health risks associated with nickel leaching during cooking. Nickel is listed as a priority toxin by the ATSDR due to its link to allergic reactions and other health concerns—especially under regular cooking conditions. This makes the pot non-toxic and hypoallergenic, ideal for sensitive individuals or anyone prioritizing a cleaner, healthier kitchen environment.
- 3-Ply Thick Base (6MM): The robust 3-ply base ensures exceptional thermal stability and eliminates warping or hotspots. With a thickness of 6 millimeters across the entire bottom, it enables rapid, uniform heat distribution—leading to faster cooking times and improved energy efficiency. This advanced construction supports better nutrient retention by minimizing prolonged exposure to high, uneven temperatures.
- Solid Riveted Handles: Engineered for comfort and durability, the handles are securely riveted and designed to stay cool during stovetop use. Whether you’re stirring a simmering soup or transferring a full pot of liquid, the ergonomic grip provides confidence and control without risk of burns.
- Tight-Fitting Lid: The precisely contoured lid creates a seal that circulates heat and moisture efficiently. This not only speeds up cooking but also preserves the flavor, aroma, and nutritional content of your dishes—perfect for slow-cooked meals, braises, or long-simmering stocks.
- Mirror-Polished Exterior: Reflecting timeless French kitchen elegance, the mirror finish enhances visual appeal while making cleanup easier. It resists staining and maintains its shine with proper care, adding a refined touch to any cookware collection.
- In-House Manufacturing Excellence: Produced at HOMICHEF’s own world-class facilities, each unit undergoes rigorous quality control to ensure consistency, durability, and performance. This direct oversight guarantees adherence to strict standards throughout production.

Benefits & Use Cases
This stock pot excels in versatility and reliability, making it suitable for a wide range of culinary tasks. Its 6-quart capacity accommodates family-sized meals, holiday feasts, or meal prep batches without overwhelming counter space or requiring multiple pots. The efficient heat transfer reduces cooking time and energy consumption by an estimated 12–15% compared to standard cookware, aligning with eco-conscious living goals.
Whether you’re preparing homemade bone broth, blanching vegetables for freezing, or crafting delicate sauces that require precise temperature control, the even heat distribution prevents scorching and ensures consistent results. The nickel-free composition means no harmful metal ions enter your food, preserving both taste and nutritional integrity—particularly important when cooking acidic ingredients like tomatoes or citrus-based sauces over time.
Durable and resistant to rust, pitting, and corrosion, this pot performs reliably across all common stovetop types including gas, induction, electric, and glass-top surfaces. Its balanced weight and sturdy build make it easy to maneuver even when filled, while the cool-touch handles remain safe to hold during active cooking.
Important Notes
Designed specifically to minimize exposure to toxins, this stock pot is recommended for households where metal sensitivity or low-toxin living is a priority. While the bonded layers offer excellent thermal performance, sudden temperature changes—such as moving a hot pot directly into cold water—can compromise structural integrity over time. To preserve the mirror finish and extend the lifespan of the cookware, hand washing is advised. Each package includes one 6-quart stock pot with its matching lid; no additional accessories are included unless specified in the product listing.

Great value for the money and no nickel.
I’ve been using this pot for about a week now and it has met or exceeded all my expectations. There are good instructions included with the pot, as this metal has no nickel there are some potentially additional steps you may wish to do. However, I did none of that, I simply washed the pot and lid upon arrival then let it dry. Placed it on the stove and added in enough avocado oil to cover the bottom of the inside of the pot. Heated that up on high for a little less than 2 minutes and then let it cool. Wiped out the excess oil and it has been great ever since.Do things, stick. Sometimes, it is metal so yes that can happen. Is it harder to clean than any other stainless-steel pot or pan, no. Same thing, cleans up easily. I overcooked some rice and it burned to the bottom ,but I have no issue cleaning that out. Like any stainless-steel, if you need to get a mark out, simply use a little bar keepers friend powder (sold everywhere) and it will look brand new in seconds. The huge difference is, with a regular pot and bar keepers friend you can smell the nickel after cleaning, with this one – you do not.So, for a nickel-free (for your health) pot, that is sturdy, well made, comes with a lid, you really can’t go wrong. I’d buy from this brand again.===Update: I did end up damaging the pot. It’s still a good pot, but never clean the bottom with anything harsh like Ajax or similar. If food is stuck, in my case rice, you need to let it soak, maybe even overnight, then clean or scrape it with a silicone scraper. The bottom is somewhat thin, so scrubbing like that will lead to seeing black marks where the metal is gone. I’ll keep my stars as it is a good pot, you just have to be a bit gentle with it.

Great stainless steel pot
I have been looking for a stainless steel pot for a while now and this one has ticked all the boxes! Been using it for a few months now and love how quickly it heats up and cooks food evenly. Itâs easy to clean with minimal effort. The size is perfect for making stocks and soups which is the main reason I bought it.

Good Fit
This is a nice pot. We needed something smaller than our 6 quart but bigger than our 2 quart. Heat distribution is good and it’s nice and solid. My only complaint is that while cooking up a batch of beans for a get together this past weekend, the bottom of the pan ended up scorching – never had the stove set higher than 2, and mostly on 1 or ‘low’. In the end, it’s OK for the money.

I Love This Pot! Perfect Size, Perfect Cooking.
This is the perfect size for making soups, sauces and stews. I used it right away to make chicken soup, which includes sauteing onion and garlic, then adding 8 cups of chicken stock, chicken breast, veggies, aromatic herbs and spices and Orzo. There was more than enough room for another 4 cups of stock, which is how I will be doing it in the future.I have a glass flat top stove and it sat perfectly flat on the burner. The vented lid kept the soup from boiling over, and its metal handle was very warm to the touch, but not so hot that I had to use a pot holder to lift the lid. The two side handles were nothing more than slightly warm during the whole cooking process. I chose not to season the pot (instructions on how to do it are included, so I was happy to find that clean-up was simple because, even though the Orzo always seems to like to hit the bottom and hold on, it never stuck enough to leave bits to deal with in the sink while washing.I highly recommend this 6 quart stainless steel pot made by HOMICHEF.

Great cookware…
I am very pleased with the HomiChef Nickel-Free Stainless Cookware. It is made without toxic materials which is not true with most cookware. It cooks great and cleans up beautifully! I will definitely be purchasing from this vendor again.

Safe, easy clean, and COOKS WONDERFULLY (you really DO need less heat wtih these!)
I’ve purchased cookware sets, and 3 times, individual items from this vendor, Homichef. I have used their products for several months now and I’m one hundred percent satisfied and happy with them! There’s a little bit of a learning curve on the seasoning process, but it’s easy as can be, just slightly different from the old standard way, but IT WORKS! You can do your skillets and pots with this process and I recommend you do that, however, with the pots its not necessary. I was amazed that you really can lower the temperature setting and it cooks just as fast. This stuff is an EXCELLENT conductor of heat. There’s really nothing bad I’ve found about any of these items since I got them! And, nickel free, Stainless Steel, they’re safer than most things on the market. The price is good and I’ll eventually have NOTHING but Homichef in my cookware. HIGHLY recommend these pots and pans!

I bought this after alot of looking around and checking reviews and I made the right decision! I originally wanted it for making soup as I didn’t have a big enough pan but have now found that this is my go to for everything! Sturdy, easy to clean…even after making jam, just perfect for everything I need! Light weight but strong and the handles are just the right size. The lid even has a blowhole so it doesn’t jingle about too! My best buy for a long time!
