Perfect to light up a dark walkway & easy to install…wish I’d found them sooner!
I looked long and hard for some inexpensive solar lights for the long dark walkway of my rental home. The problem with many other styles was their top facing solar panel which would’ve struggled to get light under the roof overhang on the side of my rental home where the sunlight is already limited. I saw these with their angled solar panel and knew they were exactly what I was looking for based on the direction the wall they would be hung faces. Seeing how they had multiple functions and created a nice upacale looking lighting effect was the icing on the cake. I had purchased a different type of solar lights initially for the front of the garage and regretted buying them once I found and installed these. They work so well and allow me to feel safer getting home after dark as well as make it easier to navigate my walkway too! They were a cinch to install thanks to the template included and my only regret is not installing them sooner. If you’re looking for a rental friendly or just inexpensive lighting option that’s solar powered…these are a great choice! I will likely by more for other areas of the house!

Durable, Good motion detection, and better beam spread
I looked at several solar, motion activated lights and I’m glad I went with this one. I was basically looking for something durable that illuminated a narrow path on the side of our house without too much horizontal spillover into our neighbors and this works great.It has 3 modes which allow different brightness and duration settings. I have it set so that it turns on with motion at night and then off after a few seconds which works well for our purposes. Additionally I like that the beam is mainly directed down instead of across so it illuminates exactly the path I want.In terms of mounting, it comes with a sticky pad which might work on some surfaces. I used another 3M mounting tape because the exterior of my house has a stucco finish. 2/4 that I purchased fell ~7ft, but good news is still worked just fine which I guess speaks to durability.The box actually has a flap that you can tear off and use as a mounting guide. I ended up having to use masonry screws, but it didn’t take to long to install.Overall I’ve been very pleased with the aesthetic, durability, and function of these lights.

Great light, butâ¦.
Iâm not sure how many people are sharing what happens after a little whileâ the light became dim for me. Not because of the lack of sun to charge it; the actual LED light source became less strong at lighting the ground when I walked by.I have NOT found any way of reaching customer service about this light. So I am letting you all know this light is probably stuck with you once you have it.When it did work, it was great! But now I may buy a different source of light.

Got these to help my porch light out. I come home to a pitch black walkway to my front door when my porch light switch is off (normally comes on at dusk automatically).My porch light is a little dim too, so these lights are helping illuminate some more, especially the steps where the porch light doesnât reach.I noticed the build quality on these right away, compared to the same style you see all over. These are expensive compared to those other ones, but I can see why and in my case I didnât need a 6 -10 pack of cheap lights. These fade on gracefully and they donât blind you because the LEDs donât come up too high on the design of the thing. Even when I walk up the stairs, when my eyes look up to the high-mounted light I donât get blinded.Nothing to complain about yet, but I do wish this brand had a narrower design for placing on 4×4 posts or tighter areas in general.Update: I bought more to light up the dark walkway leading to my front door. I watched day to day over the winter to see where the sun hit the most, then installed in those spots. These lights were great in the snowy winter. Always kept charge and had no instances of a light being out. I kept them in the mode where they are off until you walk past. I kept the one that gets the most sun in the mode where itâs dim and then brightens to 100% and that one kept charge too.I did have a couple instances where the sensor didnât pick up motion and didnât turn on, but did on the second pass.

Good little motion lights.Note: The mode selector switch is on the back. If you install these with the included adhesive the switch becomes unaccessible. I used 4 ft. x 2 in. Industrial Strength Tape. This makes them removable in case I want to change the settings.They only stay on for 20 seconds. With continued motion they v]can stay on longer. A setting for this would have been ideal, like 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes.

These are great for walkway lights. I park my trailer next to the sidewalk and actually fastened it to the side of the trailer. Whenever anyone walks near, the light turns on. These are tough and the first set worked so well, when I lost it, I bought more.

These are fantastic with easy install, soft glow on when activated with motion. Ordered these on two separate boxes – all but one of the four total just did not continue to work/turn on after a week so docking it 2 stars. If they can get consistent with the product, would totally give 5 stars. Directions could have been a bit clearer, but it’s also intuitive to figure out so not hard to overcome.

WORKS GREAT
I purchase the set of 4 just to try them out and I love them!! They are easy to install. They have three modes; I love the third mode where the side lights stays on at a low diem light which it creates that nice fancy look and the bottom bright light turns on when it detects motion to be able to see clearer. I install these on my fence. I purchased 3 more sets of 4 to install them all around my fence in my back yard.I highly recommend them! You will not be disappointed.

Work well, light up when needed, although it has to be 100% dark outside for them to work. That period between twilight and total darkness is not dark enough to make them work. But they do work great when it is very dark.
