Great lock, great service
Great lock.. changed from an older keypad lock but love the added features of fingerprint & fob along with the key and keypad codes. Had a locksmith install because our older one was more difficult to remove, but if that would’ve come out easier I’m sure we could’ve put this one in. Seemed very straightforward and not too difficult. Had some issues getting the electronic set up… thought I was going to have to remove, but found out thru the customer service it was only a setting in the app I had wrong… changed that setting and it worked perfectly… customer service was great… very helpful and answered all my questions so I got all the information I needed. It was thru email and a different time zone, so it took a bit of back and forth, but the rep was very helpful and responded in a timely manner, so I appreciated that. It looks great.. modern looking design. Auto lock is a feature we always used before so I’m glad to see that is one this one as well. Haven’t set up with Alexa yet so can’t comment on that feature. Nice lock and handleset at a reasonable price.

Easy to install and operate
I bought this to replace my traditional door lock. I was expecting to have to do some modifications but luckily I did not. It seems that it has the same measurements as a standard lock of the same style. The install was so simple that the app took longer to setup than the actual physical installation. Once in, there are a couple of apps that can be used. What I noticed is that some of the settings have to be done from the door lock itself and cannot be configured on the app. Having the functionality and versatility of so many ways of opening it it’s very convenient, with the fingerprint scanner being at the top of thag list. It’s the fastest way and it works flawlessly. When the doorbell camera is pressed I like that I have the option of chatting and opening the door, especially for my family when they come visit. Uses AA batteries that are still at 100% after nearly a month of daily use.

App needs a lot of improvement
App is very basic. You cannot add nor delete user codes from the app, only from the keypad. No option to view the camera from the app; camera only activates when the doorbell is pressed for you to view and unlock remotely. All in all it’s a beautiful lock of good quality and easy to install BUT the app is a major letdown!
