This is what all furniture SHOULD be!!Why does this humble $50 seat deserve such a glowing review? I could barely wait till I was finished assembling this piece to write this review – that is how pleased I am with it:1. Clear, simple directions. I believe they’re translated, but they’re translated so well you can’t really tell. Thank you for your attention to detail with this.2. Well designed.3. Easy to assemble (PRO lazy tip: do it on a bed, don’t bother trying to assemble this on a chair. It’s easier to line everything up when it’s close to your height)4. Super sturdy AND comfortable!5. Looks fantastic, simple design but quality is apparent in person!That this bench is $50 – shipped with PRIME no less – is unbelievable. The bench alone is worth $100 without shipping (but please don’t change the price… I wouldn’t have found this if it cost $100 ð).Why can’t all furniture be like this? Shop online, receive it in two days shipped, assemble it easy, and it’s actually a quality product at a fantastic price. Wow.This is what Ikea should be.BONUS: In the instructions, it says if you recommend ways for them to change the product and they do, they will send you free products in the future to try. I bought this bench for my closet to give me a place to sit while putting on my socks and shoes. It meets those needs perfectly and or the price, it looks very nice and is sturdy.

Perfect entryway shoe bench by a great company!
I had originally ordered a similar bench from another seller on a lightning deal; but, having always had such wonderful experiences with Songmics, I decided to reach out to their customer service to inquire about their bench in black. Black matches out decor much better, and it looked like a much sturdier, more comfortable piece. The customer service representitive who got back to me (Bruce) could not have been more helpful! He assuaged any of my concerns, and assisted me in ordering this bench, so I promptly cancelled the other order. I am so happy I did! I just set it up, which took maybe 30 mins at most, and it really could not have been easier to assemble. There are only 7 pieces, plus screws, for which an allen wrench is provided. You pretty much put the whole frame together in one step â just be sure to only hand-tighten the screws at first, as all the pieces need to fit together before the screws are all tightened. I followed the instructions and affixed the cushioned top before tightening the screws, ensuring they were just tight enough to hold the frame together during the process. Once the top was on, I went around and systematically tightened all screws until the pieces of the frame were flush with one another and secure, but not too tight as to warp the screw holes through the frame. I flipped the bench back over, set it on the ground, and sat on it. No wobble, felt sturdy, and the nice cushion on top is, indeed, very comfortable for such an item. Thank you for producing and helping me acquire this awesome product! Songmics has become my go-to for good quality home storage furniture and such at affordable prices! They stand behind their products, and their customer service is just wonderful!

Easy to install – Decent rack/bench
A little hard to get out of the box as it is packed in tight. Once out, it was super easy to put together. Look nice and the kids love sitting on it to put their shoes on. While the sales page says it hold 374 lbs, I would question that. I am nowhere near that and the one time I sat on it, it creaked like it was wanting to collapse. Not a deal breaker for me as I didn’t buy it for me to sit on, more for the kids!

Great shoe bench for larger shoes
I had a hard time finding a shoe bench that fit my husband’s size 12 shoes. This one is great, the shoes fit well, it was easy to assemble and sturdy.

Great for the price
I was looking for something to store some shoes and have a place to sit. It works for that. It’s pretty sturdy, has some wobble but you can tighten up the screws. I think the price is fair for what it is. Covering the top with new fabric wouldn’t be too hard I think, haven’t tried it. Putting it together took maybe 10 minutes, was fast and easy.

Primero que nada el precio de este artÃculo está increÃble, para su calidad y tamaño fue bastante económico, sobretodo cuando lo comparo con otras opciones que encontré antes de dar con este artÃculo. En cuestión de entrega llegó muy rápido a pesar de venir de USA y en un empaque muy grande (lo guardan en una caja del doble de su tamaño) me imagino es para evitar que la avienten y se maltrate.El armado es sumamente sencillo, viene con los tornillos y una llave Allen para realizarlo, me cronometré y me tardé 20 minutos, no tuve ningún problema de que las partes no embonaran correctamente. El banco aguanta sin problemas a dos personas de peso medio, es bastante cómodo el cojÃn para sentarse, tomando en cuenta que es solo para unos minutos. El tamaño es algo largo, caben sin problemas 3 pares de zapatos por nivel y aún asà queda un espacio. Me encantó el producto, sobretodo lo compré para cuando regresemos a la normalidad poder colocar los zapatos de losInvitados e Intercambiarlos por pantuflas y no ensucien mi piso ð Espero que mi reseña les haya sido de utilidad, un abrazo!

It arrived in perfect condition. I read the reviews where some people had difficulty “I had issues with screws not lining up with the holes”. I have no such complaint. When you put it together don’t tighten the bolts until after it is fully put together. Then you have enough wiggle room to line up the bolts to the holes. I like this bench, and it does not wobble.
