Good fit for Gourmia GAF838
Perfect fit for a Gourmia Model GAF838 air fryer so far that wouldn’t detect that the basket is fully engaged into the air fryer, preventing you from operating the LCD screen to turn it on. Without a working switch, the LCD screen won’t turn on. Basically removed the bottom screws on the air fryer, took out the melted/broken switch and then installed this one. Works great so far and will update this review if it fails.

Worked great for my toshiba
My microwave was turning with the door open so searched up a solution and was led to replacing the door switches. Process is straightforward but had a few issues along the way. Removing the panel took a little work since its an old microwave that had some grease built up from the kitchen trying to hold it in place. Took advantage of having it off to clean the travel paths for the cover. The connections where hard to remove so I wiggled them out with a needle nose plier. I did take pictures before I started but I did not check orientation, not sure if it mattered given they where back in the same location but I did orient them all the same afterwards. I replaced the blown one and closed it back up but it still had the same issue, ended up having to play around with the switches for a while and ultimately found how to use a multimeter to detect if the circuit was open or closed to help me figure out what was going on. Well long story short I closed it back up and it works flawlessly now but I’m not sure how I fixed it ð It’s been a while and its still going fine with a switch to spare.

This fit a Toshiba Microwave Oven
My Toshiba microwave oven started to give me issues months ago when after opening the door the turn table inside kept turning. The microwave would still work but then last week it finally stopped working altogether. After doing a little research I took the microwave apart and removed the switches and tested them with a multimeter and realized the bottom switch, picture attached, was corroded and not clicking anymore. This is a normally open switch. I replaced it and it fixed the problem.When you get the switches it doesn’t say which switches are Normally Open or Normally Closed so I used my multimeter to figure it out. I didn’t realize that the terminals are slightly different and that’s how you tell which is which. All in all this was a simple and cheap way to fix a microwave without having to purchase a new one. Just remember to take detailed pictures of your wiring.In order to not forget where I put the other switches in case I need to use them, I taped them to the back of the microwave. I got this tip from another reviewer.

Worked in GE jmv6175dk2ww Microwave, but required some force to install
My GE GE jmv6175dk2ww was shutting off/turning on seemingly randomly when the door was opened or closed. I replaced all three door switches with these and now my Microwave works. Note that unless you know exactly which switch is broken, you will probably need all three of the switches in this package (the middle switch on this GE microwave is reversed, hence the “normally closed”/”normally open” distinction in the product description. It’s easy to distinguish by color of the buttons.)My only complaint is that these switches’ connectors are ever so slightly larger (like a micrometer thicker) than the stock switches and it was difficult to re-insert them into the microwave’s receptors. It required much more force than felt comfortable applying to the plastic and a little bending of the receptors to get them inserted.

Brought my nonworking GE microwave back to life!
Microwave was not powering/heating the food. There were light and time but when we closed the door and hit the start button, you can hear a click sound and the countdown starting but NO power, NO hum, NO light, NO spinning, nothing. Just the timer counting down. This microwave has FOUR door micro switches and one of them was bad. The click was very weak. BTW the three that was visible were TWO normally open (NO) and one normally closed (NC, in the middle) and there was one more on the lower back of thoe three with an extra prong. Relatively easy fix and brought my 13 year GE microwave back to life. Thanks Amazon and HiQltyla!
