Trypophobia Serving Tray
I know this isn’t about possible anxiety induced reactions, but the repeating pattern on this ivory faux leather gets my attention, unfortunately not a pleasing one.This faux leather embossed print looks more reptillian than mammal and the pattern repeats frequently enough that the eye catches it more than it should. I can’t un-see it. Unfortunatelly it’s not a true reptillian pattern which on reptilles is supper cool looking, but this is the uncanny valley via reptile feel.All that aside. The build and feel of this serving tray is sold and weighted, the color and handle accent is well done. This depicts quality. The handles are more of a cosmetic addition as the handle themselves are a bit narrow to grab onto and grabbing the whole tray is more affective. Having small thin fingers there were problems using the handles as handles. I get the need for some texture to the tray versus slippery and not wanting items to slide arround or tip. The dimensions are nice as it sits on an ottoman as well as couch, coffee and end tables, equally well.I like it and maybe for me, in a different color.

I used this to organize containers in my laundry. It’s the perfect size to hold everything & looks great! It is a nice quality & makes it easy for me to move everything at once if needed. Thinking I might add a lazy Susan spinner to the bottom as well.

I picked this up mainly to use on our white couch for holding drinks and snacks, and overall, it has been a quality stylish and functional piece for our living room. The faux shagreen leather looks great, is sophisticated and modern looking, and the black metal handles contrast beautifully. It feels high-end. The size is perfect and large enough to hold multiple items without overwhelming the space. I also like that it’s easy to clean; spills wipe off easy with a damp cloth. However, one downside is that while the PU leather finish looks elegant, but not as thick or padded as I expected, so I have to be careful with heavier items. Also, the edges could be slightly higher to prevent things from sliding off. Overall, it’s a great decorative and functional piece, and itâs saving our couch from many potential spills!

The faux leather pattern is super cool. The build quality is awesome and the metal handles posh! The size of 16″x16″ is perfect for our couch. It’s great to hold not only the beverage but other loose items like a journal or ipad. While my coffee stain wiped right off you might want to be careful with items like wine on a light color. Already have visitors asking where I got it!
