Nice light. Longer cord. works great.
The cord is a bit longer than our old cord so we shouldnât have the issue of pulling on the cord and breaking the wires where they connect into the remote. To replace, Unplug chair from wall outlet. To remove old remote from chair, unplug from the bottom back side of chair and cut any zip ties holding the cord in place and carefully pull up through the front of the chair. Now take the new remote cord and maneuver the cord through the front to the back (which can be a bit tricky but not hard) and plug it into the back of the chair. Be sure to tie up any wires dangling. Plug chair into outlet and from the back of the chair press the remote button to raise the chair all the way up and then all the way down while checking that the cord is not being pulled too tight or pinched as the chair moves. Done.

Works great. This cord is much longer than the original which makes it easier to use. The original broke because it was too short. The brighter blue lights can be either annoying or pleasant. I would say it is as bright as a night light.

What a relief!
When the wires came out of the remote to our electric recliner, I thought I would have to buy a new chair. My son told me, just buy a new remote. Sure enough there were several choices online, so I bought this one. It worked like a charm and made me happy. I would say a few things i don’t like about it is the bright blue LED light (probably to locate it easily), but it interferes with my vision when watching TV so I cover it up. Also, the cord is very long, and gets tangled up. If I have to buy a remote again I will look for no light and a shorter cord, but it does work as promised and that is a relief.
