Great lids
I use these on my Kerr 8 oz wide mouth jars for my sourdough and absolutely love them. They are so much easier to clean than the lids that come with the jars. They fit perfectly on these along with my other wide mouth sourdough jars that I use for levain. They are so easy to use and the silicone comes off easily to wash underneath of. They hold a great seal if needed but I mostly cockeye it slightly so my sourdough still has some fresh air while sitting on counter. The wood is beautiful in color and each piece seems to be a different hue.

Pretty lids for storing DRY items in wide mouth jars
These wooden Ball lids showed up on a sale, so I ordered a set. There is some variation one to the next, but that’s normal in wood (the set I received is not as drastically different as shown in some other reviews). The lids offer a good, snug fit on wide mouth jars. I’m currently using one on my kosher salt jar, and they will be great for other spices, peppers, pastas, etc. These are intended for storing DRY items only, and are not for canning. I’m happy with them – they’re pretty and work for the intended purpose.

Cute And Functional!
These Ball Wooden Storage Jar Lids are very nice. They have a very snug fit, with a silicone gasket, so they will keep your jar contents fresh. Be aware that they are intended for dry contents only. I bought these because I have a Mason jar collection that I love to use for eating, drinking, and Storage. I wanted a cute lid option for dry food storage, and these are it. A definite upgrade for the cabinet or countertop.Edit: I am very confused by some negative reviews complaining that the lids are not uniform in color. The full description, if read, states that the lids may vary in color due to the product being natural.

Great addition to a gift
These kids are beautiful and allowed me to add a little extra to gifts in jars and storage of items on my countertop. They seal well and the bonus is they donât rust! The price was great.

Tight fit. Beautiful look
Quality product. I bought these for the look, but got much more than I expected. They have a very tight seal & they are much easier to open for items that you access multiple times a day.I make home made dog treats. I have a collection of 100+year old ball jars that belonged to my great grandmother. This is the perfect top for these jars

They are just gorgeous
Love using them on wide mouth mason jars. Seal well but not too hard to open. One of the items that I reorder many times (went it find it on sale her on amazon) they can be quite pricey per lid and I cherish them alot

I have a series of 8 oz and 16 oz vintage ball jars – the blue ones that Ball sells on their website still. Thought it would be cute to have these, instead of their usual screw lid.1) as another review puts it, they look âgoofyâ when put on a ball jar, my short jars now look like they have giraffe necks.2) looks are forgivable if they had function though. I really wanted these to stack. These donât. They will sit on top of each other of course, but you would have to be the sort that enjoys glass bottles bouncing around or a juggler. The bottom of each jar simply does not fit nicely into the indent on the lid, but just slide around freely.I thought for sure Ball could not have messed this up on purpose and so wanted to report a defect, but on further checking, I noticed that the packaging says âmost ball jarsâ but not all⦠well it would be very nice if Ball had at least listed their line of product Jars that would stack with this lid. So⦠Iâm left with not knowing if this is really just because I have the vintage series or actually these lids will simply slide on all types of ball jar products, but Iâll feel stupid buying more ball products and jars just to see whatâs really compatible here. this experience has made me lose my appetite for Jars from Ball. Iâm really better off I think look at other brands that pay more attention to these issues.

I wanted some easy to use and store lids for my regular mason jars, for daily use not canning. These wash well and seal the jars without leaks. Very happy with them!
