I was afraid of my old knife. It would no longer hold an edge. I had to remedy that quickly and saw this set. Wow. The cutting board alone is worth the price, making the knives free. Plus, the knives are sharp right out of the sheath, the sheaths are safe and the knives are pretty. They fit the retro look of my kitchen. Pretty, functional and a cutting board that would have cost the price of all of the set together. WOW. Good find. I don’t expect cheaper priced knives to last as long as a better set, but I needed them NOW, and they are sharp. I hope they last a long time. Great find, and with the bonus sale and cutting board, go get them now!

I have purchased 3 sets of these for our home and 4 sets for gifts. Cutting boards are a good size, easy to use and also have a nice little notch for hanging it up in any handy spot. Both of us love working with these knives while cooking. I still cannot believe the low cost for such quality. I think my first set is about 3 or 4 years old. Still sharp. The serrated bread knife slices easily through which ever bread we are using. The bright colors make it easy to quickly grab the right knife for the right chore. This set really deserves 10 stars.

They’re all right, but need better-fitting knife covers
So, I bought these for my mother. It’s good they send a sharpener, because I found that the edges didn’t really arrive S H A R P , you know? And while this is an attractive and useful set, the one real flaw and complaint I have is that the covers for the knives are a bit too loose; they don’t like to stay on. Depending on how you store them, you might have to be careful how you pick them up, because hey, that cover’s going to just come right off.That flaw aside, these are okay. They do have a sharpener, the knife shapes are helpful ones to have, and the board’s all right. Yes, it does show pretty much immediate wear when you use the knife, but for this kind of price, and with it being plastic, I think that’s just par for the course. If you’re not okay with it, or if the sleeves are a deal-breaker for you, don’t get it.I told my mom to basically always immediately dry the knives after washing, and there haven’t been any problems with rust. The plastic board does show wear, but hasn’t had issues with staining. The board edges do stay in place, which is nice, and one side is flat, and the other has a groove for juice.So, would I recommend these? If you want a set that is basically these things and you’re not worried about sleeves, sure. If you’re going to be cooking a LOT of food and you’re particular, no. I do have a 5-piece knife set from Vremi with covers, and while they’re in ‘fun’ wacky colors, their covers fit comfortably snug, their knives were sharp, and I’ve had no issues with rust on them. They don’t come with the cutting board OR a sharpener though, so, think about what your needs are.I will update this review periodically if anything goes wrong, or just to check in and say how the knives seem.

Super sharp
I love these knives. However, I would not let a young child use them. I have a healthy aversion to the ER or surgery to reattach fingers. They are really sharp. I use them with caution. They slice poultry and beef really quickly, but I go slow. Vegetables donât stand a chance against these knives. They slice and dice easily. I canât emphasize enough that they are SHARP! I canât rate them because Iâd give them a five, but Iâd give them a 1 for youngsters or disabled.

Great starter set
I needed a new knife set for my place but i didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg. I am not a chef by any means so i just needed something basic. These are very aesthetic and are a surprisingly good quality. I like that they come with a sharpener for when they eventually get dull but i have not had to use it yet. For someone who cooks basic meals maybe 3 times a week these have worked great. My only concern is that the rubber/silicone handle might get gummy or deteriorate over time but I feel that by that time i will have gotten my moneys worth. The cutting board is basic although i do appreciate the dip around the edge to catch liquid from going onto your counters. It’s a nice touch to include and is a great gift for someone just starting out on their own.
