APPLICATION INSTRUCTION: (Quick and Easy)
1. CLEAN THE SURFACE
Clean surface with wet cloth thoroughly. Allow the surface to dry completely. Ensure the surface is completely free from dust and grease.
2. MEASURE AND CUT*
Cut the tape to the desired length and round the corners with scissors.(To ensure the anti slip tape has the best bonding to the surface, do not apply the anti-slip tape cross the gaps between tiles.)
* Pre-cut anti-slip treads can skip this step.
3. PEEL AND STICK
Lay the anti-slip strip to the desire location. Lift one end of the strip and peel back the first 2 inches of the backing. Press the tape down as you go. Continue until you have applied the entire strip to the surface. (For stairs, position the tape 1/2 inch from the edge of the stair.)
4. PRESS FIRMLY
Roll over the tape with the application roller. Begin in the center of the strip and roll to one end, then return to the center and roll to the other end.

They apply easily and work great
These are great and easy to install, I used a paper hanging seam roller to ensure full contact and they do adhere great and make the steps around the pool area very safe and non slip. Great product and great price.

So far so good
My main concern was how well these would adhere to the steps on my wooden deck. The stairs can be slippery when they’re wet and I have slipped on them more than once. I thought about getting the clear treads but then I thought if I had to add extra adhesive it wouldn’t be as obvious with the black treads. I first wiped the deck stairs with some mineral spirits to make sure I had a clean surface. The treads were very easy to install and the paper backing peeled off easily. The adhesive on the back of the treads seems very substantial and I think it will be more than adequate. I was happy with the way the black treads look and they definitely have plenty of grip. I was worried that the small particles would flake off and be messy but so far I’ve not seen any signs of this. They seem to be just what I needed.

Good low cost fix for slippery steps
Husband took a bad fall on our front porch steps so was looking for an alternative to rubber mats. These went on easily and were a great price. They do a great job keeping my steps safe.

Great traction and very easy to work with.
I purchased these to add some traction to the wooden steps I have on the side of my house. When it rains they become very slippery.I swept and cleaned the steps (with just water) and then let them dry for about 24 hours before applying these. Upon opening the box and unrolling the treads they were all neatly pre-cut and uniform. Very lightweight and thin yet durable. After measuring and placing them where I wanted, they were very easy to put down by simply peeling away the backing of one side, adhering it to the step, and then lifting the opposite side up to pull away the backing while smoothing out the strip against the step. The directions reference using a roller to apply better force, but I found I was able to simply use the backing to lay on top of the tread, and then apply force for adherence just the same. I let them set for 12 hours and then ended up placing a roofing nail on each end, about an inch from the edge just for good measure.It’s been a few days now and even had a good rain, these treads are locked down as best as they can be and provide a much needed improvement in traction on those steps.I recommend these treads!

Added safety on steps
I was expecting strips that were more like outdoor carpet, but these provide better traction are gentle on the feet and not unattractive. They are easy to apply and remove.
