Delayed Feeling of Air Flow
Installation was a little difficult as one screw didn’t align perfectly with cap..like 1 mm off which made it difficult to install. At first I was very upset that I absolutely didn’t feel any air flow AT ALL and realized the mount has only a few inches from the ceiling so there not enough air to make a good air flow. But it was too late at night to do anything about it. The following morning I felt the slightest breeze. Thereafter, I finally (after years) slept like a champ with a whisper quiet fan and for some reason i finally felt the cool breeze and good amount of airflow. Perhaps it was just a matter of getting acclimated plus you only feel the flow in certain spot (which for me was in bed). I’m now very very happy with my new fan, I do love the different light settings, I don’t feel the need to replace with super duty fan and really appreciate how quiet it is. I don’t agree with a review that states it blows more than a traditional fan-not accurate statement and not even logical. It does however performs it job very nice and looks beautiful.

Beautiful, but they left out a key detail from instructions
This light is beautiful and modern and very bright which is suitable for the space (laundry room in my case). Installing the fixture was easy however the fan didn’t work. The instructions said no pairing required. Worried that I had missed something I took it back down and checked but everything was fine with the wiring. I thought maybe I would try the app (QR code on the remote) but it didn’t really seem to let me configure anything and was just not very functional. Something I read there about pairing to the app though made me curious if I might be able to pair the remote by holding down the pairing button while the light is turned on at the wall switch at the time of the little beep. Sure enough that did the trick and now my remote works for the fan and light settings. They really need to update their instructions to let people know this. I was about ready to consider returning it since I could not get the fan to work initially. I am happy with it for now and hopefully this information is helpful to others.

Light will not turn off…
Even after the remote was replaced, the light still will not turn off, had to resort to turning off the breaker for the electrical circuit, because control circuit in the light failed.

So Easy!
Our house has only 7.5 foot high ceilings, so when our old ceiling fan gave up it was a HUGE challenge to find something that would not decapitate us in our bedroom! The last ceiling fan was nearing 40 years old, and everything at the home improvement stores that was ranked as “low profile” was at least 11 inches deep, and was also going to require extensive reconfiguring of the mounting area due to changes in sizes of the mounting brackets over that 40 years. That wasn’t going to work for us, so started an extensive search on Amazon. Read the extensive reviews on this fan, and took a chance and ordered it! Talk about a shopping miracle! Hubby said it was the easiest thing he had ever installed! It seriously took him about 20 minutes. Love the 6 different fan speeds, the different light colors, and the whole remote thing. The light is bright enough for you to discern if your pants are black or dark navy, which can certainly be a challenge in the morning! Highly recommend this fan for anyone looking for easy replacement along with a shallow profile!
