Mistook the title, but itâs a good sturdy lock.
I misread the title and thought this was for a sliding glass door, when I ordered it. As soon as I got it out of the box and saw it, I realized I had made a mistake. The title is clear, this is entirely my fault.I still got it out, to test it, as much as possible. Itâs a really good sturdy lock. It looks really heavy duty, especially for something that goes on a glass door. I would assume itâs more for privacy and keeping people out, than any real security. It has an awesome looking design though. It is battery powered and charges with USB-C, so you might want to get a power bank if you donât have a plug close enough to reach it. I used the manual directions to enter a passcode and a fingerprint. After getting further in the directions, it looks like you can do all that in the app instead. I would recommend setting everything in the app, the directions in the manual are a little confusing. It is not mentioned in the description, but Tuya app. I havenât used it before, but is laid out decently. I was a little taken aback because I was expecting a dedicated app, but everything for the lock, is in there. I guess if you have other devices that use that app, it will make it easier, having everything in one place.The fingerprint sensor worked great after getting it entered in. I also didnât have any problems with the cards, passcode, or the key of course. You can also unlock it with the app itself. It seems like it would install on anything thin, so hopefully I can end up using it for something in the future, because it is nice.

Nice low to mid security glass door lock.
One of the coolest features of this lock is the fact it’s reversable, so you can use it on either right or left handed doors. That makes it really flexible for various installations.This doesn’t use any kind of drilling or anything to hold the lockset in place. The entire works, both sides, is held in place by double-sided tape. So, this really shouldn’t be used in “mission critical” applications. Low to medium security only, and the lower the better, lol.Installation isn’t too difficult, with the main issue of focus being getting both sides lined up and the sticky-tape being laid down perfectly. You definitely want to get this right the first time, as only 1 piece of tape is included per piece, so there are no “do-overs” unless you go buy more tape yourself.It’s powered by AA batteries (ugh), so to avoid any potential problems, I highly recommend putting lithium AA batteries in this to prevent leakage and whatnot. Amazon sells quite a few varieties of lithium AA’s, I recommend picking some up with this lock.This set ended up not working for me, but not because the lock itself was bad or faulty, but because the door I wanted to put this on is simply too thin. I think this is made for a set thickness of door, either 3/8 or 1/2″. Thinner doors need not apply, and unfortunately there is no adjustability in the set (which is why I took 1 star off). For this to work for me, it would have needed to be adjustable for width, which it is not.In all, it’s a decent quality lockset that works well, and it has a LOT of features such as how one can actually open it (keys, codes, fingerprint, etc.) but it’s not for high security, and it’s not for thinner glass doors. 4 stars.

super easy & modern upgrade .. i didnt even know they made these!
i wanted to add some security to my glass door without making permanent changes, and this lock has done the job. the setup was quickâno drilling requiredâand it blends in with the modern look of my place. iâve been mostly using the fingerprint and the app to unlock it. both options work well, but the app could use some improvements.itâs been nice not having to deal with keys all the time, and overall it feels like a good way to secure a door thatâs not easy to modify.

Decent lock
I like the no-drill design because I didn’t want to scratch the glass. I had it set up in under 20 minutes with the supplied instructions. Multiple unlocking methods give flexibility. I mainly use the fingerprint reader which has been reliable. The “Always Open” mode is useful during business hours because it allows easy access. I give temporary access codes when I have a delivery and I need to let someone in remotely – I use the app. But why such a big branding logo.. visible from a mile away.

This lock is pretty sleek looking and has a nice touch screen and black housing. Installation is very simple and easy to do. Setting up the lock for passcodes and fingerprint takes the most time but its fairly simple. The instructions were clear and getting into setup mode was easy. It feels pretty solid and well built. It also has a cool feature that can use app control. Touch screen is resposive and works well.
