Great piece but confusing directions
Bought this bench to put next to our fireplace. It’s a great piece when you can actually get the correct pieces together. My husband is handy and builds furniture all the time. He had a hard time with this because the directions and the photos were not specific or poorly depicted.

The navy blue is very dark.
Just finished the assembly of 2 identical cabinets. Overall, we love them. We ordered Antique Navy which was pictured in blue, but the ones we got were much darker than the online photo, almost black. That was a bit disappointing. The assembly said it would take 30 minutes. Directions had many mistakes and were incomplete on some steps, so the first one took two people 3 hours to assemble. With experience and knowing what to expect, the second one only took 2 hours. Definitely not 30 minutes. Some minor damage in shipping, but not that will show. The slot for the floor board did not match up with the side wall slot, so we had to adjust the wall slot with a box cutter, then it was fine. When attaching the drawer slide hardware, you should place it as far back into the cabinet as you can. There are actually 3 screw hole choices and they don’t tell you which holes to use, so we had to re-do ours after we chose the wrong ones. Now that they are assembled, we are looking forward to getting a lot of use out of them. Hopefully, they actually will support 200 lbs. on the bench as Amazon advertises and 50 lbs. per drawer.

Tasteful and Functional
Bought this to help store items for my newborn in a house with very limited space. It has exceeded all expectations and has given my husband and I so much of our bedroom back! The cushion on top is very soft, the bench itself is very sturdy, and the storage space is small yet perfect for what we need.

Toxic fumes!!!
My husband spent several hours assembling this bench, then we noticed a terrible chemical odor. It was so strong that we had to put the bench outside! Even after two days, we could not bring it back inside.

nice looking but small and cheaply assembled
well, ill start off by saying this is the nicest looking one of these things on amazon if your standing 2 feet away. i say this because when you get closer than 2 feet you’ll notice the doors are impossible to get even and if you shut one, then the one next to it pops open. the hinges are ridiculously cheap and theres no adjusting the doors besides reinstalling the hinges making new holes. Youll also see the “cam bolts” with the doors open. those cam bolts lock terribly. 2 of my doors rub when shutting and after reinstalling 3 times, theres no fixing it. Plan on putting 2 rows of shoes underneath using the shelves? unless you wear size 1 toddler, forget it. for an adult shoe youll have to set the shelf to an accommodating height which leaves the space for the second row useless. Also when you open the doors you can see the paint job errors. im thinking a blindfold was used when painting it. i gave this 3 stars because my wife likes the look of it under our coat area. if it wasn’t for that, i’d send this back tomorrow morning. Im a contractor so, quality matters and so does bang for my buck. at $179 i could have bit the bullet and said ok, with inflation 179 is ok but factor in the crazy shipping cost and theres no doubt its overpriced. if they put adjustable hinges at least on this i would have been in better spirits but, i have seen better hinges on jewelry boxes in dollar general. but hey, it looks nice from beyond 2 feet away, thats almost a win.
