Parents can set it up in seconds, ensuring their baby has immediate access to a private, darkened space.

Benefits & Use Cases
This Mengersi Blackout Sleep Tent is more than just a shade—it’s a versatile tool for modern parenting. For newborns and infants, consistent darkness plays a crucial role in regulating circadian rhythms and promoting longer, uninterrupted sleep cycles. By reducing exposure to streetlights, room lights, or sunlight through windows, the tent creates an optimal microclimate for naps and nighttime rest.
Parents traveling with young children will appreciate how seamlessly the tent integrates into hotel stays, vacation rentals, or family gatherings where lighting control may be limited. Its compact nature means it won’t take up valuable suitcase space, yet it delivers powerful results wherever you go.
At home, the tent doubles as a practical solution for daytime naps when external light interferes with your baby’s schedule. It also offers added privacy in shared rooms or multi-child households, giving each child their own peaceful zone without needing separate rooms or blackout curtains.
The breathable material reduces concerns about overheating, and the open-sided design maintains proper ventilation—always keeping safety in mind. Unlike fully enclosed tents, this model prioritizes airflow while still providing significant light reduction and visual separation.

Important Notes & Safety Guidelines
While the Mengersi Blackout Sleep Tent enhances sleep quality, it must always be used responsibly. Please ensure compatibility with your specific Pack N Play model before purchase—dimensions and rail configurations can vary slightly between brands.
Never leave your baby unattended inside the tent during sleep, and avoid covering the bottom or completely enclosing the crib to prevent suffocation risks. Always follow safe sleep guidelines recommended by pediatricians, including placing infants on their backs on firm sleep surfaces.
The package includes one blackout crib tent with integrated canopy frame. Accessories such as carrying cases or storage bags may vary depending on the seller. Recommended for infants and toddlers using Pack N Play-style portable cribs.

Naps Finally achieved!
Naps were alluding my 4 month old because of the light coming in the room during the day. Even with blinds and curtains closed, my little one wouldnât nap. This blackout canopy has assisted in making naptimes not only happen, but blast several hours!

Measure first
Make sure your crib has small sides cause this did not work for me as the crib has wide wood top

It’s Fine, But Not As Advertised
It’s fine for what I need – it blocks out all of the stimulating sights while my son naps, but definitely not blackout and doesn’t stand straight up on a pack and play. No matter how tight you screw it, it leans over. Luckily, I can lean it against something, it just looks super janky.

Great for sharing a room!
We are currently living with the grandparents and there is no such thing as space haha. Best solution to the new baby needing blackout sleep while we keep the lights on to get other things done in the room!

Pretty great, very functional, zipper is loud 🙁
This would be basically a perfect product if they’d used a plastic zipper pull (I think the actual zipper is plastic). Usually metal is better because it’s more durable, but in this case plastic would’ve been a great choice because it is much quieter.I replaced the little pull with ribbon to reduce the noise so it was just a minor inconvenience (not easy if you don’t have wire cutters handy though)

Dangerous
Came crashing down in the middle of the night ontop of my baby. The fabric is too heavy for the hanging device. Scared us! Thankfully we were sleeping in the same room as the baby.

Make sure you check thickness of crib railing!
Great product we bought a second one for Grammy’s house. Almost didn’t fit to attach the upper ring, but we made it work like a charm.
