High Quality, Fair Price, No Regrets
So, I read the reviews on all of the Stock Pots and every one but this one seemed to have some drawback. I was willing to pay a little more for a high quality product and took a chance on this even though it had few reviews at the time I purchased. FYI – We use it on a regular electric range so I can’t talk about how it works on an induction range, but I can say that we are very pleased with the solid construction, the styling, and the ease of cleaning. The first dish we prepared was a hearty lentil soup and the stock pot performed wonderfully. I will say that after cooking and reheating several times and then cleaning the pot, I noticed that the bottom of the inside had become a bit cloudy and required a bit of cleanser and elbow grease to restore it to it’s original luster, however, I have seen this occur on other pots and pans as well when various types of beans were left cooking for long periods, therefore I do not consider it to be a defect of the product. We’re very happy to have made this choice and will look for this brand next time we shop for cookware. Hope this review helps others that are as picky as I am!

    Great pot
I made gumbo in this pot for the first time.. and it’s been done for about 30 minutes and the pot is still hot. And it cooked my gumbo perfectly. No sticking, Easy to use just make sure it’s heated up before you put anything in it. Looks very nice and functions great

    Duxtop Delivers Again
I bought an induction hot plate several years ago with a set of pots and pans from the same manufacturer. Sad face. Pans passed the magnet test or so it seemed. Then I went through a series of “induction ready” (some expensive). More magnets, more sad face. I was about to give up on the induction idea. Gee whiz modern technology my eye. Then I tried a Duxtop saucepan (1.6 quart). Works great, really great. I’ve had it over a year and a half, almost daily use, blue non-scratch scrubbers, finish still looks brand new. But appearance is a minor thing. The inside has markings to show volume which is a nifty feature. There are never any hot spots due to the heavy bottom which is great since I suspect the cooktop may not be even.I recently bought a Duxtop sauté pan which I am just as pleased with. As you can see by the build up I’ve already used it a lot, often at high heat. This casserole is my third purchase. Each time I’ve bought a pan.I’ll received an email urging me to contact the manufacturer for ANY problem PLUS how to contact Amazon. How’s that for service and confidence?I’ve owned some of the more expensive anodized and stainless cook wares in the past. This stuff is equal or better than all of them. I will buy more when I can. Their prices make that possible as my circumstances have changed. I’ve bought hundreds of items through Amazon down through the years, very seldom do I post a review. I expect things to meet expectation with no need to comment. And I don’t complain when they fail.Like the old ad said, “Try it, you’ll like it.”

Best Induction Pot for Larger Quantities, Pasta and Stock
Unlike reviews posted here that apply to other Duxtop pots and pans, I am using the 8.6 quart/7.0 liter item as shown on this product page. My rating says ‘I Like It’…for lots of home use. My Professional grade pots and pans are a good bit beyond this in solid construction…but won’t heat on my new induction cooktop. When it comes to induction, Duxtop is as good as it gets! I own a fine 10-piece set (purchased on Amazon from Secura) and what I have is ‘just right.’ That set represents a new metal for Duxtop, one that is a magnetic stainless steel. This largest available pot comes from the induction-ready era, with a hefty magnetic insert to conduct energy and to evenly disperse heat from whatever source. With my premium home induction cooktop it took this pan 20 minutes to bring 7 liters of water to a rolling boil using an energy setting of 9 (powerful but sustainable without damaging the cooktop element for that period of time). I turned down the power and the pan quickly moved to a lightly bubbling simmer. The kit kept temperature at a gentle simmer for 20 minutes (the length of my test). I am sure it will maintain an evenly dispersed temperature for much longer, since I could not detect any hot spots using my starchy test fluid.I found this pot to be generally well-constructed (for home use.) The glass lid is encircled with a stainless band, providing structure and also allowing a view into the pot that solid metal tops do not allow. There is a small ‘dimple’ opening in the lid to allow steam to escape but I found steam preferred to bubble and spit around the rim of the top at full boil, ‘fogging’ my cooktop. (Well, the top needs regular cleaning anyway…but this would not be so wonderful on open burner gas or electric cooktops.) The dimple opening worked fine for simmering temperatures.

Works perfectly on my duxtop single cooktop
Nice flat bottom. Also great on normal ceramic cooktop. Love the shape and feel of this pot. I bought a couple other sizes of this brand.

This brand makes a great pan, even if you don’t have induction. I wish all my pans were this brand.

This pot is the perfect size for a larger batch of soup. Purchased it for my induction stove and it works perfectly. As an added bonus it appears to be well made and aesthetically pleasing. I appreciate the steam vent in the glass lid and it cleans up beautifully. It’s a great addition to my induction cookware.

Es de muy buena calidad, el material es grueso y cumple lo que promete, aunque a pesar de que tuve en cuenta las medidas, creo que viene reducida, pero es muy linda 🥰
