Expands well. No odor. We bought them to help refill 2 bean bags. We kept the beans in and mixed this with those. It seems to be working well.

I bought these to refill my couch cushions. My couch has feathers in it and the cushions went flat quite quickly. I began to hate my couch even though it is only a year old when I laid on it it would be lumpy in weird spots and really hurt my neck and shoulders. I poured about half a bag into each cushion and it brought life back to my couch! It is now soft, squishy and more comfortable than the day it was delivered! I initially thought one bag per cushion but the bags were big enough I only needed half. I didn’t remove the feathers, I just poured these on top of the feather bags and it was perfect! One of the best purchases ever made on Amazon!

I thought the idea of memory foam would be fantastically comfortable for my son’s bean bag. Turns out I was completely wrong. Here’s my breakdown as to why:CONS:•For use of bean bag, it is delightfully soft BUT it turns into one singular big, flat memory foam pancake BLOB. You can’t pick it up and fluff it like a traditional bean bag. Bean bags are so great because after a good fluff, you can jump in, snuggle in and get that encapsulating effect that they’re famous for. Memory foam (whether it’s shredded or cubed, regardless of seller), although very cushy and soft, will never provide that encapsulating “hug feeling”. Imagine laying on a memory foam mattress rather than bean bag. DON’T EVEN TRY USING IT FOR A BEAN BAG. YOU’LL BE SORELY DISAPPOINTED.PROS:•Functionality: For use in any other application (that isn’t a bean bag): this particular memory foam would be FANTASTIC for dog bed or pillow•Material quality: It arrived neatly packaged in 2 separate bags, vacuumed sealed. The foam was bright and clean. Slight chemical smell but dissipated within a few minutes.•Once the vacuum was broken, it was very easy to fluff and MUCH easier to transfer into the bean bag cover than traditional “beans”NOTES:•I used this for a bean bag cover sized as “small for kids” 27.56″D x 27.56″W x 31.49″H, which called for 100L of filler. I purchased the “10 Pound” (2 pack of foam”.•Expansion quantity: One bag was NOT enough to fill the small beanbag. I used 1.75 bags for the bag cover.•For transferring the foam from the original packaging into the beanbag, I broke the vacuumed sealed bag it came in them dumped it into a contractor’s trash bag and gave it 15 minutes to expand. I then transferred the foam handful by handful into the beanbag cover pulling the foam apart and fluffing it with each handful. I wanted to make sure it wasn’t clumpy going into the beanbagTIP FOR REPACKING FOR RETURN:I ultimately returned this item. I put a contractor’s trash bag in a large blank Amazon box (not the box it came in because that was way too small). Note it must be a blank box and without any logos, pictures, etc. When I first brought it to UPS to ship, they declined it because it was in a diaper box. Then place the foam in the bag that’s already in the box. Then used a vacuum hose to compress it then ziptied it off. Not super easy if you don’t have a vacuum seal contraption. I couldn’t do it alone.

Just what I needed!
I purchased this to make the body pillow I had previously ordered full as it was no where near full and was flimsy. The pieces were a bit long so I cut it up more and it did the job!
