Prepare for a solid 8 hours of build time!
We were very surprised with how solid everything was. Yes, itâs like building a very complicated IKEA item, but worth it. The only drawback is that once you start building, thereâs no going back. We found a few corners were damaged and two pieces were yellowed a bit. The seller was great and offered us a small refund to compensate. But seriously, once you start, the idea of returning it is a âno goâ. Also, itâs delivered in two boxes. We werenât aware of that until after we completely unpacked the first box. At the bottom was a bite that said âthis is one of two boxesâ. Hereâs our suggestion on how to go about building this:1. Wait for the second box to come in.2. Unpack everything and sort every board. Youâll need some space.3. Inspect every piece. If thereâs issues, now is the time to repack it and return it if you canât live with the issues. Unfortunately we found ours as we were building it.4. Have two extra Allen wrenches, wrench, screwdriver with a ratchet.5. Go step by step. Donât try to think ahead. Thereâs screws, cam nuts, and so many parts to this thing. Follow the directions and go step by step. Theyâve thought of everything!Itâs a solid, strong, beautiful piece of furniture – especially for the price!But schedule the time. It took us a solid 8 hours. Hubby worked a few hours without me then I jumped in.And make sure youâve got the space to sort and out the boards.Five stars because itâs a great bed!

Amazing bed frame
We absolutely ove this bed frame so far; especially the style of it and all the storage areas. Once together it has been incredibly sturdy and seems quite well built. Just to aware that it is a long assembly process. With 2-4 people working to build this bed, one of whom is an engineer for their job, it still took us over 10 hours to do the complete assembly. The instructs were fairly clear the entire time; it just takes that long to put all the pieces together.

Better than Expected – Real Value
Although this king size bed was a royal pain to assemble, I had my doubts about the quality of a bedframe in a box furniture. I must admit it did exceed my expectations and appears to be a much better build than what I was anticipating. The assembly wasn’t actually terrible but rather a lot of pieces to put together and time consuming, It took me a couple of evenings – part time. I did take the time to make sure of a quality build by gluing, not overtightening screws, and double checking instructions before committing to each step. The instructions were simple to follow and I only found one step a little confusing. A second pair of hands will come in helpful when it comes to the bigger pieces. The extra storage space is a plus. The manufacturer also included extra hardware to insure you are covered in case you lose a screw or two. The only extra thing I did was purchase a big bottle of quality wood glue to replace what was included. Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase. So much so, I purchased two matching end tables, tall dresser and the wide dresser for a complete suite. Don’t misunderstand, this is not solid wood bedroom furniture but it did exceeded my expectations based on what I paid for the entire suite. I think it will hold up well for my wife and me. Oh, and it supports or mattress very well and sleeps good too.

This took a while to put together. I would recommend a drill with torque settings and buy more wood glue you will run out. Great bed with lots of storage. Much better than the beds with metal across instead of the wood slats which make this bed much more comfortable.

Quality merchandise and service!
Fedex completely screwed up the initial delivery of this package, but the seller was so fantastic. Communication and customer service was top notch. Not only did the seller respond to my initial message within only hours but also shipped my packages back out immediately. Assembly was very complex and there is a multitude of hardware but if you love puzzles and challenges it’s actually a lot of fun. The bed itself is stunning! I absolutely love the bookshelf headboard and the drawers. The only disappointment is the light strip is extremely fragile and broke upon plugging it in. Overall five stars for the beautiful bedframe and even better customer service.

Seems solid. Plentiful Storage. Disaopointing Drawbacks.
There are a lot of pieces as others have mentioned, but it puts together quite nicely and it looks good in person. The instructions are picture based, but easy enough to follow. I recommend sorting the parts first to make the building process more straight forward. The storage is plentiful and secure.- My biggest complaint are the garbage plastic pieces that the bed slats push into. The bottom pegs are supposed to be forcibly pushed into the metal side rails, but you have to push down on the slats to try and even out the bottom pegs or they just bend and become not useable. I have 5 that are completely unuseable because I couldn’t get them to pop in and 5 others that got warped and not firmly secure. It would have been better to bolt them into place like other pieces in the build. I’ll have to likely redo the slats another way to keep them secure. I spent 1hr on slats alone and you don’t get extras. Trash.- Other negative are the 4 cubbies (non drawer) that don’t actually have a top/ceiling to create an enclosed box, so if you have small animals, especially cats, they will be able to get under the central bed. I’ll have to find a way to enclose those spaces.- Be careful with small screws, they can strip easily if you don’t supply enough force to get them to bite, being manufactured/compressed wood.
