Amazing frame for the price!
For the price of this queen frame I wasn’t expecting much honestly when I ordered it. Sure, in the pictures it looked nice but so has a lot of other things that later turn out to be a disaster with either putting it together or keeping it together. This has been a wonderful exception!Everything you need came packaged inside the headboard. On the back there are two zippers that unzip the entire back of the headboard and inside is all of the pieces needed. I really liked this feature as I moved recently and was able to break the bed down and transport it all in one single protected piece. The design is very nice, modern and sleek and durability and quality both seem to be excellent. I have used this bed for nearly a year and it’s held up great. One of my main concerns were how sturdy the boards underneath the mattress would be and so far I’ve not hand a single one break. When looking under the bed when my 2 year old and spouse’s 2 year old are jumping on it the boards have a little give and relieve pressure which is a nice added bonus. There are two groups of boards, all strapped together with velcro to adhesive to the bed frame itself which also has velcro. I have not noticed this getting worn out or losing it’s strength and the boards seem to always stay in place. The frame itself was extremely easy to put together and there weren’t many pieces that had to be put together. There’s two panels on either of the long side of the bed, then the small foot board and head board, along with the framing that runs underneath (which is one part) that goes from either side and front to back. There was one small issue with this, one of the leg holes for the headboard seemed to be stripped out a bit so it wouldn’t tighten very well and wobbles a bit, however, UPS lost my first bed in transit and so it was awhile before my originally order and when I finally received a replacement so I can live with this, plus with kids jumping on it, two adults falling on it after a long day of work and plenty of rough activities on and around this bed it’s held up extremely well. This was a bargain on this and I love it! I also like the addition that there’s no need for a box spring anymore. Box springs seem old and archaic and I am glad I upgraded to something more modern. Also, I have seen a few complaints about gaps with other type of bed frames like this..I experienced zero issues of this and my mattress fit perfectly inside and it does not budge, wiggle or move at all. There also a decent amount of space beneath this bed, a small dog and a 2 year old child can both climb under this with no issues, makes for additional storage is need be.Design seems great, assembly is easy and quality is fantastic, I’d recommend!

Would buy again, but so well made I don’t think I will need to.
This frame is beautiful, it definitely looks like you spent more than $250 on it. Also, the dark color works with most decor, and it feels very modern and sleek. I paired it with one of the Zinus memory foam mattresses, and they work great together.I was able to afford this king sized frame, and a mattress all for under what I would have paid to just get a traditional mattress at a store. This frame came in the mail last night, and my husband and I were able to put it together in about 30 minutes. It was super easy to put together, I think that I could have done it myself. The way they designed this was pretty smart. Everything comes in a zippered pouch on the back of the head board. The instructions were just pictures, but overall very easy to follow. A few tips:*loosen all the bolts on the frame.*when it tells you to put a bolt it, they are actually already on the frame. We were searching for extra parts we thought we lost, but they are already in you just loosen them to put the frame onto the sideboards then tighten.*If more than one person is doing this, find an extra allen wrench that fits, it will make the process go so much faster. It feels very solid. I jumped around to test it out, and no movement, so squeaking. Feels like it will hold up a very long time. The only thing I worry about is the leather vs my dogs nails, but that is with any leather furniture, not this specific brand. There was real wood in slats, and in the side rails and foot board, not like a particle board that is laminated, real wood. The inner frame part is made of metal, and the pegs on bottom are a hard plastic that screws into the headboard and foot board. Seems to be very well constructed.Overall, I feel like this is a FANTASTIC buy. I will update a few months down the road to see how it is holding up.

For this price point including well packaged UPS/FedEx shipping and 5 year warranty, you will not find a bed of this quality with slacks. I kept this product in my wish list for many days, scouting around Sears, Ikea, Best Buy and even local furniture stores before I decided to purchase this bed. I am glad I took this decision. In Ikea, a similar bed would cost 700 CAD with slacks with delivery. In other places, I was getting similar beds but of a poorer quality. The bed itself is very well made and it is not surprising that the manufacturers have patented this design. Inside of the bed are four cross metal frames that are light, solid and very easy to fit together. The headboard and foot board slide into lock nuts from top after which they do not apply any pressure to the headboard and footboard downwards. I was initially worried about the legs breaking now under stress but after putting it together, I can see that they is no way it can happen unless you put it together in a wrong way. The corner top bolts of the headboard and footboard can only be fitted with an Alan Key (provided) as the area is not accessible through a screwdriver. Some suggestions for those who are fitting it together.a) Attach the legs to the headboard and footboard first and keep both on the side for later use.b) Fix the metal cross beams and ensure that they are touching the floor without having to push them down.c) Loosen the bolts on the headboard, footboard, and slide in the metal frame. Do not tighten the screws yet.d) Start fitting the side boards (4 pieces) by loosening the bolts as far as you can without removing them. Slide the side boards.e) Very Important – If you do not want your footboard and headboard legs to hold any stress (the load should be held by the metal frame), ensure that the headboard and footboard once slid into the bolts are free floating on the floor i.e. no push required from top to keep them stable on the floor. Now , asking someone to put a very slight pressure on the top, tighten up the bolts. Some areas for further improvement for which I would pay a little higher price for this bed :a) The slacks are not as strong and may crack over time if more than the 250-pound load applied regularly. I would recommend the manufacturer to provide an option of extra strong slacks. I can always buy these on a nearby store for around 30-40 bucks.b) The support on the sideboard where the slacks sit is made of wood and has the potential to sag. The manufacturer should consider providing metal bars instead.I am not too worried as there is a 5 year warranty and practically all components can be easily replaced. I will come back and leave an update in few months and hopefully I never have to use this warranty.

I recently purchased the Zinus Deluxe Faux Leather Upholstered Platform Bed with Wooden Slats, and overall, it has left me quite satisfied, earning a four-star rating. The bed boasts several notable advantages, although there are a couple of drawbacks that need attention.Let’s start with the positives. The bed’s design is elegant and spacious, adding a touch of sophistication to my bedroom. The overall construction is sturdy, providing a reliable and durable platform for a good night’s sleep. The assembly process was straightforward, and I appreciated the inclusion of wooden slats, ensuring adequate mattress support without the need for a box spring. One standout feature is the ample storage space beneath the bed. The inclusion of under-bed storage is a game-changer, offering a convenient solution to declutter and organize bedroom essentials. This practical addition enhances the functionality of the bed, especially in smaller living spaces. However, there are a couple of drawbacks worth noting. The bed’s height is higher than that of a standard bed frame, which may not be suitable for everyone. This can be a minor inconvenience, particularly for individuals who prefer a lower bed height or have difficulty accessing higher surfaces. The most significant concern arose during the unpacking process. Unfortunately, the packaging had been compromised, leading to an unpleasant discovery of live cockroaches and cockroach eggs. This was an unexpected and highly undesirable experience, raising serious concerns about the storage conditions in the warehouse and the effectiveness of the packaging in preventing pest infestations. In summary, the Zinus Deluxe Faux Leather Upholstered Platform Bed is a stylish and practical choice with its sturdy construction and ample storage space. While the height may not be suitable for everyone, the packaging issues were the most significant drawback, warranting caution during the unpacking process. Despite this setback, the bed itself is a quality product that, with improved packaging, could easily earn a higher rating.

Excellent style &, build, the frame is very sturdy, well made. EASY for one person to put together. The mattress (twin in this case) sits on top of the frame, I would have preferred it to fit inside the frame. But the mattress doesn’t move, actually easier to make the bed. It’s very “adult” . Great storage area under the bed, it’s high off the floor, which double, even queen bedding will still fit, with a 10″ mattress. Would recommend this platform bed.

This is the first bed frame I’ve ever bought as an adult and was a big investment for me. I was nervous because I feel with Amazon you never know what your really going to get quality wise. However , I am more then happy and impressed with this bed frame. My only issue I had was getting the box not just upstairs but in my house at all lol it is SO heavy, I struggled just to get it inside at the bottom of my stairs. There was no way I was gunna get it up 2 flights of stairs so I ended up just opening it up and taking it up piece by piece. Once I got all the pieces upstairs it was super easy to put together. I’ve been sleeping on it for a couple weeks now and love it. It looks so stylish and way more expensive then it is and makes me feel like I finally have an adult bed lol my dogs are also loving having the room underneath it to play so that’s been fun! I would highly recommend this frame, it’s worth every penny.

Initially, we viewed this product as a great buy, easy to assemble and good looking. However, after suspecting a pest infestation in our unit and turning our whole apartment upside down and inside out – It turns out the origin was within the bed frame itself. The wooden panels are rested on velcro to keep them in place. The pest infestation was found UNDER the glued and stapled velcro. After ripping the velcro off (which is no easy task) – they were all found nesting under the velcro and moved to further populate deep inside the wooden slats. We have checked our floors, mattress (thank god we had a mattress cover) and could not find ANY sign of pests except for INSIDE the frame itself and inside the wooden slats. Being a very loyal customer to Amazon, this is EXTREMELY disappointing. Waiting for your response.
