It’s an okay bed
This is a solid storage bed once it’s fully put together, but there are a few things worth calling out. The headboard is an odd choice; the rest of the bed had fabric, but the headboard has metal poles with a fabric piece in between those poles. Maybe they thought you could remove and wash it, but it threw me off when I saw it in person – I definitely didn’t notice it in the listing. The hydraulic lift works, maybe a little too well. It’s noticeably harder to close than the two queen‑size hydraulic beds I already own with a similar design. It’s sturdy, but the resistance is strong enough that I had a moment of classic dad anxiety — the kind where you wonder if the lift is so powerful it might nudge your kid upward while they’re sleeping. I’m sure it won’t, but it definitely crosses your mind the first time you test it.The slats were the biggest headache. They were full of splinters, which is why I had to wear gloves while installing them. On top of that, every single plastic cap was squished, making them incredibly hard to pop on. I’ve had other beds where my 4‑year‑old could help with that step, but between the splinters and the crushed caps, this was one of those “I’ll just do it myself” situations.Assembly overall was pretty easy for us, but we’ve been putting furniture together for almost three years now, and my 4‑year‑old actually helped screw in a lot of the parts – he’s safe with a drill. Having drill bits that double as Allen wrenches also makes a huge difference — if you’re relying on the included tools, expect it to take longer.Once it’s built, the bed is sturdy, functional, and the lift‑up storage is genuinely useful. Just be prepared for a few rough edges (literally) during assembly and a hydraulic lift that’s stronger than you might expect.

Great choice for kids’ bedroom needing extra storage.
Great., affordable option for my kids. Once put together, the unit is very solid. The hydraulic struts can hold up a Serta Perfect Sleeper with bedding. The frame is sturdy, and I could lay all my 240 pounds of pure muscle on the mattress. Frame felt solid, no squeaks. You will need a cordless drill with an Allen key chuck to aid your assembly. Instructions are purely visual. The manufacturer included plenty extra Allen bolts and washers. It took be an hour and a half to assemble working very efficiently.

Basically an extra closet – exactly what I wanted!
Ok, I was a little nervous purchasing because there weren’t a ton of reviews but I am so happy with my purchase!Living in a small studio, I wanted a space that gave me the feel of an extra closet instead of just stuffing things under my bed. I searched all over for a storage bed that offered more than 7-8” of underbed space, and this was the first one I found.Ordered the bed on December 30 and it was delivered about a week later in one box. I also purchased the Amazon installation and the gentleman, Greg, who was awesome btw, set it up in about 1.5 hours.Super easy to lift and lower. Seems very sturdy. Greg even commented on the solid hardware. This is just day 1 but I am so happy!I will say, someone commented about the space between the mattress and headboard. That is true for me as well. I pushed the mattress up against the headboard and there’s about 2” of the frame showing at the end. I’m ok with that because the comforter covers it. Hopefully the bed mattress doesn’t slide around but it seems pretty secure on the slats so far.Will update this if anything changes but right now highly recommend!

Unable to assemble
Extremely frustrated. I’ve been trying to put this bed together for two days now I’ve tried calling customer support. The hydraulic system does not work. The bed does not stay in a close position and always stays in an enough position. I purchased two for my boys room, but it looks like I’ll have to return both of them.

Very satisfied- excellent bed frame.
Very satisfied with this bed frame. The things I like are the fact that the slats have plastic ends with pegs that fit down in the rails so they will stay secured when you raise and lower the bed. You don’t have to worry about them shifting. It’s very solid, it doesn’t feel like it’s gonna be wobbly. The cylinders that hold it up are very strong. My mattress is very heavy and it’s holding it just fine. The instructions were very good. If you’re ever looking for a piece of furniture with easy to use instructions, the instruction book was phenomenal. I was a little bit disappointed with the sides when I realized they were sections. I feel like it would have been better if the sides were one piece instead of two put together. I am pleasantly surprised at how solid they were after being assembled. I really expected them to be flimsy and they are not. It’s still very sturdy. I put it together by myself with no problem. There is even a few pieces of extra hardware left over just in case. The metal pieces and parts are good quality and everything fit together snug. I definitely recommend this bedframe for anyone looking for extra storage space. I would definitely purchase again.

Deep storage and so worth it!
Bought this for my daughter who moved back in and we have limited space. This bed has deep storage underneath! We fit the 12×12 cube organizers down there with ease! She is over 200lbs and it’s holding up without issues.I tested the bed out to see it would hold two peoples weight and yup no issues. The only thing that’s a bummer is that the headboard is not very good quality and the Velcro is already coming apart.It was hard to open the first dozen times but now it opens easy with minimal effort.Easy assembly but need a second set of hands for sure. Great value for my money for sure.
