Good cheap lamp
I bought two of these lamps because of the price. For whatever reason, every time I move, my floor lamps always wind up broken so cheaper lamps are better than expensive ones in that regard. They are also an unobtrusive design. I like that they take standard bulbs, so I put LED smart bulbs in them that work with Alexa. I just leave the switch on the lamp in the on position all the time and control the light with Alexa.The lamps arrived well packed and were easy to put together. With a 9 watt LED bulb they put out plenty of light and don’t consume much energy.I bought two more of these lamps for my bedroom and will put Alexa bulbs in them just like I did the lamps in my office. That will brighten things up in that room too and it won’t break the bank, and if the lamps break whenever I move next, I won’t be heart broken.

It’s a pretty metallic feeling lamp floor lamp. I think it would fit best in a more modern set up. I didn’t realize when I bought it , but 59″ is a bit inconvenient as it is almost at my height (62″) and is a bit blinding if I am standing near it.The bulb doesn’t get hot though and it feels safe.It is a bit wobbly on carpet, so I wouldn’t put this in an area with lots of young children or dogs. The bulb included is bright enough to bathe my small bedroom in light but not really bright enough for a living room or anything.It was easy to put together. You just have to pull the string all the way through the bottom as you screw the pole pieces together. Crane neck works great so far and is easy to adjust. I’d recommend it beside a reading chair.

We bought this specifically because it matched the one we have already. I only wish it came with a reading lamp attached to it. Our other one does and we use that feature a whole lot. But this lamp works well, we have it in a place that it will not get knocked over. Over time these can get a little wobbly, but so far this one is holding itself up well. Really happy to have found it.

This floor lamp has a nice design. It is made of metal with a glass bowl surrounding the bulb. Itâs fairly tall and the cord has decent length. Iâve plugged in a hue smart bulb and it functions as expected. I have no complaints.

The floor lamp I bought is listed as being silver in color but it’s actually gray. The gray doesn’t really go with my decor. I really wanted a white lamp but it doesn’t come in white so I purchased white vinyl tape (2 inch width) from Amazon and easily applied it from the top of the pole to the bottom of the pole and wrapped it around for a perfect fit at the back. I left the top portion of the gray lamp shade holder the original color because it gives a nice contrast and would look weird if it was all completely white. When you’re putting this lamp together for the first time you have to go slowly as you connect each pole to the other, if you go a little too quickly the threads from each screw will overlap each other and It will get stuck. You have to give it a couple of gentle whacks to get it back into place. Take your time and you’ll have no problem putting this lamp together. I placed a 100 watt LED light bulb inside of it and it gives an absolutely perfect amount of light for the room that this lamp is in. I love this lamp so much that I’ve bought another one for the guest room. The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because its listed as being silver which is a complete lie. This lamp is 100 percent gray. Silver is a reflective color whereas the gray on this lamp is dull and flat.
