These lights are amazing. I installed one on a 12-foot pole near my car so that my surveillance camera can see if someone is near our vehicles, our neighborhood at times can be a bit iffy.Well, I had to cut down a few large branches from a tree that was shading our vegetable garden, don’t worry we took great care of the tree.But, I yes, I cut down the thickest branch(es) and it took out this solar light at the top of the pole that we installed over a year and a half ago and the light was pushed off and fell to the ground and broke, not a mess of a break, just a wire inside was broken – it still worked and even though it was in 2 pieces, the lights still came on.I was a bit embarrassed but I didn’t take the fence down LOL! – only the light – Therefore – I did not have to hang up another mount – These lights fit right into the existing mount and were easy peasy – solved the too much shade on our vegetable garden, pruned the tree, much needed and well -I took out the solar light – phew that’s it.Needless to say, I got a look at the light after being up for over a year and it still looked brand new and it handled the weather amazingly. We live on Cape Cod in Massachusetts, salt is in the air from the ocean and really hits anything metal and rusts all metal – the lights are durable plastic on the outside but inside there is metal, it was fine in there! We are a 5-minute drive from the ocean – the wind – the extensive rain – the salty air – no joke!The light that fell to the ground looked brand new – so I can honestly state these lights can handle the elements. I pull into my driveway in the dark, the light goes on as it is a sensor light – we can see, if we need to unload the car(s) and it’s as if I did not take out the first light with the tree branches – LOL!Too much girl power? Never!Get these lights – and I’m really picky and critical and truthful if a product is good or not.These are great! The 2nd light in this package – it’s lgoing onto the side of the house as there’s no wiring for an outdoor light connected to a light switch so the 2nd light that comes with the other – there are 2 in the package and are so easy to hang.Enjoy!We enjoy the sense of security and we can see where we are walking and what we’re doing.

I bought these lights because we were having trouble with people coming onto our property , and the cameras I had weren’t good quality enough to pick up details that far away in the dark. I installed these solar lights , which was super simple, my husband and I bought poles from hardware store and had the set up in 30 mins. I love that they are solar so I can put them out far onto the yard and don’t have to worry about power supply. They are bright , and the motion sensor is great. Since a few days after installing we haven’t had the trespassing issue at all. Definitely recommend for any situation.

I was able to install this product myself in the absence of a spouse or electrician. This product made me feel more secure about staying in my home alone. I simply used twine to wrap it around a few hooks that had been previousy installed on the front and back porches. I was concerned the solar panel would not get much light on the interior of a porch but it works just fine. I liked that the two lighting panels on the sides are flexible and can be aimed at different areas, i.e. a door and a window. My husband returned home and was very impressed with the product as well. Main reason we got this product was that we like to support local wildlife in the city by providing a dark property at night, but obviously we still want security for our home. This allows us to do both.
