US quality
You know you get quality product when its a US brand vs China. Cost maybe higher, but you will have one install and peace of mind vs some other product that only works at the beginning then fails after a month. Very easy to follow instructions. App that really works and easy to use. Plus you know theyve been in this business a very long time. No hesitation on this. Easy decision.

Non responsive dead after 1 year
These ate batteries, didnt work well in the cold, were a pain to manage multiple users and now out of 4 locks, 2 have died 368 to 372 days after purchase.I do not recommend Yale or August locks. Save your money.

Great smart lock!!
Love our Yale Smart Locks, great tech support and love the Yale App interface! We have one on our AirB&B it makes so we can send guests a personal entry code that expires once theyâre time is up. Loved the first lock so much I added a second to my shop!!

I think I like it
I bought this mainly for the auto-unlock feature. So far it has worked about 50% of the time. There must be a trick to getting it to work that I haven’t figured out yet.I bought this lock twice. The first package came with incorrect handles. The door handles had holes (someone else posted a photo) that exposed the inside of the mechanism on both sides of the door. The second package came with the right ones. The instructions for installing the door knob were horrible. The were not written for this model. After a loooooot of trial and error I finally got it on correctly. I wish I had taken photos to share with you but I didn’t think of it until it was already assembled and I am just not going to do that one more time.I like how the keypad is not visible until you press the Yale button. It’s less obvious as a keypad lock.

Easy to install, Easy to use.
We decided to get this lock for our patio entrance so that we can give a separate code to our friend for cat sitting occasions. It allowed us to keep our entry codes private, while still being notified when she is coming in. It also gives us peace of mind when remotely locking the door.It was not hard to install and get the app up and running. Very satisfied with the purchase in general.

Even better looking in person
This set looks great and gives my home even better curb appeal. I was a little intimidated to install it myself but found a local handyman to help and took less than 30 minutes altogether. Setup on the app for smart functions was 5 minutes.

Best WiFi Lock for the money
I have installed four of these locks on my homes and they are great. Location services fumbles every now and then and doesn’t unlock my door when I arrive at home, but 95% it does. Works great for letting friends and contractors in when needed. I highly recommend.

So I have mixed feelings about this.I mean it works but it has been very glitchy.Yesterday it decided to loose wifi connection. And now it will not recognize the wifi its been connected to for months.I bought a knockoff one years ago with fingerprint scanner for half the price and I have never had an issue with it.Bought the Yale because it would work with our security system. So many regrets!!

This is a great lock if you live in the USA. If you reside in Australia you will not be able to set up the lock unless you can access the Apple US App store. You will be unable to set up the lock using the Australian App. My husband was able to get the app from the Apple store in the USA and get the lock operational. It works well. I would recommend the lock if you are prepared to deal with the set up difficulties.

Bought this, go to effort to install only to find out the software is region locked. Unfortunately I ordered before seeing the other review in June. The advertisement doesn’t state its region locked.
