Benefits & Use Cases
This loft bed is particularly well-suited for families with multiple children sharing a bedroom, such as brothers or sisters of different ages who may prefer separate sleeping arrangements. The elevated design creates valuable floor space underneath that can be transformed into a functional area—perfect for study desks, reading nooks, storage bins, or play zones. This makes it an excellent choice for apartments, condos, studio units, or homes where every square foot counts.
The inclusion of safety guardrails addresses a primary concern many parents have about bunk beds, providing an added layer of protection during sleep. Combined with the built-in ladder, users of all ages can access the upper bunk with confidence. The metal construction ensures stability and longevity, making it suitable not only for family homes but also for student housing, guest rooms, or rental properties where durability and ease of maintenance are essential.
The cream white finish offers flexibility in décor choices—it pairs well with pastels, neutrals, or bold accents alike. Its clean lines and understated style reflect the brand’s philosophy of creating furniture that brings comfort and motivation back into the home. After a long day, returning to a calm, organized, and inviting space can do wonders for your mental well-being—and the ikalido loft bed is designed with that goal in mind.
Important Notes
Please note that assembly is required and should be completed by an adult using the provided tools and instructions. Mattresses must be purchased separately and should conform to standard twin and full sizes for proper fit and safety. While no box spring is needed, placing the bed on a solid, level surface is recommended to ensure mattress performance and extend its lifespan. Over time, periodically check all bolts and connections to maintain structural integrity.
This product is intended strictly for indoor residential use and should not be exposed to outdoor elements. For optimal safety, avoid placing heavy items or electronics near the upper bunk and supervise young children when climbing the ladder.

Very Sturdy , well built , good price, fast delivery.
Like the rectangular structure. Rectangular seems to move less than round bunk structure. Don’t like round ladder rungs, hard on kids feet.Like the slot design on slats . See picture of plastic clamp slat retainer. I ended using slip joint pliers to push in retainer. Very few could be done by hand. Pic 3 appears to have clamp fat side toward slat. Use the side with no overhang for easier install. Forcing the clamp destroys it. Put in the clamp at a angle before clamping with pliars.Clamping take time but takes the rattle out. I called a friend and it took two people two hours to assemble the frame and 1 (me) to secure the slats another 2 hours.Grandkids can now sleep in one room and not on cots and air mattresses.Bunk shipped and delivered in 3 days. Box weighs 100 pounds. I unpacked it on the porch and took the parts inside .Highly recommend this bunk for value and sturdyness. Waiting 10 days for the mattresses to come.

Twin over Twin is great!
Excuse the crude stick figure in place of my friend.Iâll be honest, I was a little worried when first thinking of getting this bed frame, since I knew the ladder could not be placed on the left side of the bed frame without some kind of modification. In the end, I bit the bullet and decided to purchase it since I really needed a smaller bed for my space. My two friends and I set it up during a sleepover and things went great! It was fairly easy, and the instructions were simple enough. As long as you organize the parts before getting to things, you will do just fine.I originally had a full size, memory foam mattress, but I cut the mattress to the standard twin size measurements and it fit perfectly :-)In order to get the ladder on the left side of the bed, I basically had to sacrifice the use of the rail on that side. I flipped the bar in which you would attach the ladder, but because of that it also means you cannot use the guard rail. For me, this is fine. I am a young adult, and barely move in my sleep. The tent which I also got for my bed serves the purpose as a sort of guard rail too. As long as you donât move a lot in your sleep, like I do, it really will never be an issue if you are missing a guard rail!Speaking of being a young adult, I am 157 pounds, and this bed supports me perfectly fine. Same with the ladder, which does not even include the support beam due to how I flipped the main bar which the ladder attaches to. I was worried when people mentioned the beds breaking, but I can only assume that is due to faulty parts or some seriously heavy use or shaking of the bed. Either way, things are fine for me. However, I definitely recommend buying pads for the ladder rungs. I have not bought any yet, and I am doing fine, but it does hurt a bit going up.Other than that, the only other thing I would mention is the noise. As I said before, I do not move very much in my sleep, but when I do, there is only a little bit of noise from the bed frame. However, keeping the bolts tight on the bed frame really helps with that! I believe most of the noise is from the slats, as they are not secured with the same method as other parts of the bed. Other than that, the bed is virtually noise free. Very small movements will not cause noise as long as you tighten the bolts.I think that is all I can say about this bed frame! It serves its purpose well, and for the amount of money I spent on it I would say it was well worth it 🙂 I hope this in depth review will help anyone looking to seriously purchase this!

Great bed but painful to put slats in
I had a twin over full bunk for my girls but now only two at home instead of three so I bought this twin over twin they picked the white color. It was fairly easy to put together the three of us did it no problem except the slats that go under the mattresses. It hurt our hands it comes with little black pieces to pop into it and it hurt our hands like crazy putting them in. But other than that it is a great bed. The lower bunk between the upper bunk does not have as much space to sit up in as their other bed did and since my girls are not little but teenagers they said you have to watch your head. My girls are teenagers 17 and 19 one in college and one is graduating high school and this fall will also be starting college so it has been perfect for them. They’re both working the summer then going back to school so they will have this bed to crash on this summer while they’re home and when they come home for breaks this fall. They have no complaints about it so far and it gave them more space in the room they share.

New bed… No
I put this bunk bed together by myself. A great accomplishment for a woman who is 75+. It is sturdy. It looks good. Now, I have plenty of room when the Grandkids visit.

Very strudy
We actually purchased two of these frames.First one built without issues..extremely happy.Second one ao much of a let down. The boxes arrived well wrapped no hints marks etc. When opened 2nd frame sadly the ladder frame is dinted and cannot use this at all. Plus screw places are not aligning. We had to employ a guy to build the frames. But had to pay him full day for 3 hours work. Now awaiting the supplier to respond to emails .. frame smoky cannot be used. So we need to return..but as not our fault supplier needs to arrange return. But 1st set of bunks..fantastic and would say buy them.Sadly we needed bunks promptly and just no response f4o. Amazon or supplier. So if reading this..excellent frames..just one has manufacturing errors.Please.respond to our emails please. Thanks

Super sturdy well built bunk bed! HAPPY
OK, so be warned, there are a lot of parts and it will take some time to put it together. It’s not complicated it’s simply built quite well so takes some installation time. I did it alone but with two people you could probably knock it quite faster. However, it’s totally worth the money and with two boys 8 and 10 that are jumping around like crazy animals this thing is STURDY and SOLID. As soon as I started putting it together I knew it would be a solid bunk but when I was finished I was still surprised how STURDY it is.If you don’t mind spending a little time putting a puzzle together (with instructions) and don’t mind turning some bolts this is the bunk rack to buy.At the price point and the fabrication level it’s unbeatable.

I ordered this bunk for my kids both under 3 years of age. The product arrived late. A month late. But it was expected, so no surprises there. The bunk exceeded my expectations, not at all noisy, really sturdy, does not topple unlike cheap single bunk beds, and its easy to fix a few screws by yourself and bam, done.Pretty good at this price range as well. Initially I was skeptical about the mattress size and saw a few unfavourable reviews, still I went ahead and ordered a custom mattress of size 75*54*6 from wakefit. It arrived a week earlier than the bunk bed itself. As you can see it fits perfectly. Just placed the custom order for the other mattress above. 75*38*6I’d recommend this bunk to any family with (2 kids/teens) whose on a budget and in a pretty tight living space. It is what it is.

Impressive build quality. Nice, sophisticated and heavy to hold but light to push. Stable enough to make it safe for kids to sleep or play on it. And light to push 4 adults while changing d placements.

The bunk bed looks great. The quality is good but the paint can chip. The thickness is good for an adult weighing 110 kgs. The stability of bed is decent but can be improved. The rods are spaced too apart which can cause the mattress to sag. Value for money in terms of looks and utility. Slightly expensive though.

I was not sure about the delivery as it took time. But it was delivered few days before the marked date. Heavy parcel, had to find a helper for a delivery guy to bring it up to second floor. But it was easy to unpack and instal. Even the instrument required to tighten bolts and nuts was included and no parts missed. Design is so simple and elegant. Down bed is queen size – good for 2 people. Sturdy enough for us.Very happy with the bed and delivery. Thank you the manufacturer and Amazon
