Good traction, easy to put down
Weâd just had painted cellar stairs after removing old small tread carpet squares years ago. Wanted something that had enough traction without being too thick. Also, I didnât want them glued or nailed. These are exactly what I was looking for. They are thin-ish but soft underfoot. The backing is sticky like a post-it-note and comes up easily to realign, yet doesnât slide around. I feel much safer and they look really good – I got the cross hatch pattern.

Perfect solution
These were exactly what I needed for the last couple months of my dogâs life. They could not have been easier to install. The stickiness was plenty to keep the treads in place, but I easily adjusted one after applying it crookedly, and I pulled them all up recently with zero residue. Highly recommend these treads!!

Pretty happy
When I first opened the box I thought I’d be really disappointed. They don’t feel like actual carpet at first. I decided to at least try them out. I placed them on the stairs (not stuck yet). They looked pretty good. They all lined up nicely and none were wrinkled or mis-shapen. So I went for it. The installment was super easy, after getting the proper measurement on both sides. I truly could not be happier with this set. I only gave 4 stars because I feel they are a tad pricey for what they are. But I’m happy with the result.

We have oak stairs and a new puppy and wanted traction and protection for the stairs without adhesives or mounting. These fit perfectly and adhere superbly. No slipping or moving around. Super durable. Great traction. Easily removable with no residue left behind. Would definitely recommend and would buy again.

After considering putting down an entirely new runner on my basement stairs, i came across these treads. I purchased them with trepidation because, âhow could glue hold them in place?â.After taking up my old runner, repainting the stairs and then placing the treads on I am pleasantly surprised.The installation was quick and easy, they look marvelous and people have commented how much richer they make the stairs look.
