Manual Wire Stripper Machine, 0.08″-1″ Hand Crank or Drill
Original price was: $35.50.$29.99Current price is: $29.99.
Product Overview
This Manual Wire Stripper Machine is engineered for professionals and DIY enthusiasts who demand precision, reliability, and versatility in their wire stripping tasks. Designed to handle a wide range of wire diameters—from fine 0.08-inch (approximately 22 AWG) conductors to robust 1-inch cables—this tool delivers clean, consistent results without relying on electricity or batteries. Whether you’re repairing automotive wiring, installing electrical systems, crafting custom electronics, or working on industrial applications, this machine offers the control and durability needed for both small-scale projects and high-volume operations.
What sets this wire stripper apart is its dual-mode operation: it can be used manually via the integrated hand crank or powered by a standard drill chuck for faster throughput. This flexibility allows users to switch between meticulous manual control for delicate work and efficient powered operation during repetitive tasks. Constructed from high-quality metal components, the device features an ultra-sharp cutting blade and a non-slip V roller that ensures secure wire feeding and minimizes conductor damage. The result is a tool that combines industrial-grade performance with user-friendly design, making it suitable for workshops, job sites, garages, and home environments alike.
Key Features
- Ultra-Sharp Blade: Precision-engineered to deliver clean cuts with minimal fraying or nicking of the inner conductor. This ensures maximum conductivity and signal integrity after stripping, which is especially critical in low-gauge wires used in sensitive electronic circuits.
- Non-Slip V Roller: Provides firm grip and alignment during operation, preventing slippage even on smooth or small-diameter wires. The roller’s design maintains consistent pressure across the wire surface, improving safety and accuracy while reducing operator fatigue.
- High Compatibility: Capable of stripping a broad spectrum of wire gauges from 0.08 inches to 1 inch in diameter. This makes it ideal for applications ranging from delicate model-building circuits to heavy-duty industrial cabling.
- Dual Operation Mode: Can be operated manually using the built-in crank handle or connected to a standard drill via the compatible chuck. This adaptability supports both controlled, detailed work and rapid batch processing, depending on project requirements.
- Durable Construction: Built from sturdy metal materials that resist wear, corrosion, and impact. Designed for repeated use in demanding conditions, ensuring long-term reliability without frequent maintenance or replacement.

Benefits & Use Cases
This wire stripper excels in scenarios where precision, efficiency, and adaptability are paramount. Electricians will appreciate its ability to handle both fine household wiring and larger commercial cables without switching tools. In automotive repair shops, it simplifies the process of stripping wires in tight engine bays or behind dashboard panels, where space and accuracy are limited. For hobbyists and makers building custom electronics, robotics, or model trains, the fine-gauge capability allows for clean termination of thin conductors without damaging fragile strands.
The dual-operation feature significantly enhances productivity. Manual mode gives operators full tactile feedback and control—ideal for one-off jobs or when working near live circuits where vibration from a drill could pose a risk. Switching to drill mode enables continuous, hands-free stripping over longer periods, reducing physical strain and increasing output for production-level tasks. Its compact footprint and lightweight design make it easy to transport between job sites or store in toolboxes, garages, or workshop drawers.
Because it doesn’t rely on batteries or external power sources beyond optional drill use, this machine remains operational anywhere—even in areas without electrical outlets or access to compressed air tools. This portability, combined with its robust build, makes it a practical choice for contractors, field technicians, educators, and serious DIYers who need dependable performance across diverse environments.
Important Notes
For optimal performance and longevity, always align the wire properly within the V roller before initiating the stripping cycle. Misalignment can lead to uneven cuts, blade dulling, or damage to the conductor. When using drill mode, ensure your drill is compatible with standard chucks and operate at moderate RPMs—excessive speed may compromise control or damage delicate wires. Keep the cutting area free of metal shavings or insulation debris, as buildup can affect blade sharpness and feed consistency. Regular inspection of the blade and roller surfaces is recommended; replace worn parts promptly to maintain peak functionality.
Note that no drill is included with this product. A separate drill must be available and securely mounted to utilize powered operation. Always disconnect power sources before performing maintenance or adjustments. Store the unit in a dry location away from extreme temperatures to preserve material integrity and prevent rust or warping.

Machine is smaller than shown
Despite the size, it works well for multiple sizes of copper wire. Great price under $50. I used a battery operated drill and went slow to keep the outside coating intack. Like I said great price and the ability to strip multiple sizes of wire.

Not for long term use
Started good but after a few uses, the part that the wires go through is loose and doesnât cut properly. Additionally, the bolt on top is loose. Itâs small, so for easier use, we screwed it onto a wooden block.

It worked as described.
This devise worked as described, making stripping wire go quickly.

Wire stripper
Surprisingly happy on how easy it is to use. Hand crank is OK but using a drill, much faster and very easy
M. Wiedman –
ridiculously cheap construction
super cheap barely works for 16 gauge wire does not work for anything else
HippieHillbilly –
It works
It works and does so well. It makes stripping wire so much easier
Matt –
Didnât last
It lasted through 10 pieces of wire and was stripped out at the gear. donât waste your money
Nyx B. –
Works well- but only on firmer wires
This works well for stripping your average wire, but I had one heck of a time trying to get it to strip any sort of wire with lots of wiggle room inside such as ethernet wires. It just squishes without cutting.
