I bought these to use with my new jar sealer for food sealing. And it is working very well. My only dislike is that when you use the lids and open them daily (with coffee beans) the lids are getting all dented up from opening them. Hopefully they are still getting a good seal…

Look, if youâre planning for the end of the world, forget the canned beans and water filters for a second. The real MVP of apocalypse prep? Mason jars. You heard me.These babies are the Swiss Army knife of containers. Iâve used them to store rice, beans, flour, water, dehydrated fruits, and even a few âjust in caseâ candy bars (hey, if the worldâs ending, Iâm going out with sugar). Theyâre practically indestructible – I dropped one from my bunker shelf, and it didnât even flinch. My toe, however, is still recovering.Also, letâs talk about morale. Nothing says âweâre gonna be okayâ like a row of nicely stacked mason jars. Itâs like Pinterest, in a post-apocalyptic era. I might not have electricity or running water, but darn it, Iâve got Instagram-worthy storage.Bonus: They double as cups, bowls, candle holders, makeshift lanterns, and probably, if necessary, a weapon. Take that, zombies!In short, 10/10 would hoard again.

Very Nice
These jars are thick i was worried they would be cheaply made. Much to my surprise they’re worth the money. I’ve had no problem with them. They seal so quick. I put strawberries in them just to leave in the fridge, not kidding They lasted at least 2 and a half weeks.The size is perfect. You won’t be disappointed.

Good Value
I use these for growing sprouts and for pickled eggs after the chickens eat the sprouts. They are great for these purposes. Based on the thickness of the glass, I don’t know if they would hold up to high temperature for canning, but for storage, sprouting and pickling, they work great at a fair price.

I loved that they can hold a solid amount of food that will fill me up and ill reach my health goals with just one container. They are also very easy to clean. I have dropped them and they don’t break so expecting them to last for a pretty long time. Only thing to look out for is not to lose those covers , they can get easily lost among dishes.
