Great piece but keep this in mind!
This is a great piece and it was exactly what I was looking for. Assembling it was pretty easy and took me about half hour. I have a very small cable box and it fits perfectly on this along with the Sound Bar. The 4 opening spots are not large but might be nice for a very small decor or the cable box. Inside the entertainment center there is a good amount of room to store any cables and other items and I have the cables hidden with the cover going up behind the TV. If you wanted to move the outlet (mine is underneath the center), it would work perfect to put it inside the entertainment center which has no back on it.FOR MOUNTING: It states in the instructions that you cannot mount this directly on drywall as the weight of it will not hold up well. I had mine along with the tv professionally installed as they opened up the wall, built a wooden brace, mounted it to the studs in the wall and closed it up. It was a little costly but it was well worth it as both items are securely mounted.This is exactly what I had in mind when I ordered it and I’m very happy with it as well as the price. I would def recommend this item.

Great shelf for wall mounted TVs with sound bars
I really like the look of this wall mounted entertainment center. It ended up being perfect for my space as I wanted a platform for my soundbar without taking up as much room as a traditional standalone entertainment center would.It comes 9 inches off of the wall but still provides a fair amount of storage space for books, movies, games and a smaller gaming system or bluray player. The holes for cable management allowed me to get a clean wire-free look. Assembly was somewhat tedious and time consuming but by no means difficult and they even provide a nice mini screw driver and socket for the lag bolts. Like other reviewers, I had to drill my own holes in the mounting boards to line up with my studs but it’s a easy fix with the proper tools and they even provide wood colored stickers to cover up the existing holes.All in all it’s a sleek, low profile entertainment center that was a great addition to my home theater setup and paired nicely with my wall mounted 65 inch TV!

Holes for wall mounting are not spaced for typical stud gaps
This item seems great quality and was easy to put together. However the holes for mounting this item to the wall are not spaced correctly for typical 16 or 24 in studs. The directions state this is designed for brick or wood walls, which I did not realize prior to purchase. If you have a drywall wall you are wanting to mount this item on please keep in mind you will need to buy separate items to be able to mount this on your wall and make it work.

Assembly is a pain, but looks nice
The âinstructionsâ are just pictures and a couple of them look backwards, so ended up having to redo a couple pieces. Also a pain to hang – the holes arenât the same distance as the wall studs, so we ended up drilling a new hole. Even so, we were able to put it together in an afternoon, it looks great, and holds everything nicely.

Good Quality and Looks Great
The quality is great. It feels solid and doesn’t look cheapy like a lot of other options out there. Assembly was pretty easy with the instructions provided. My biggest complaint is that the handle is a leather flap that doesn’t look as nice in person as it does in the pictures. The only provided screws for mounting on the wall are for brick or concrete, so I had to buy some drywall snap toggles to mount it on drywall.

Gets the job done
The instructions for assembly are a bit lacking and it took 2 of us to hang the shelf on the wall but overall I am pleased with the shelf. I did not like the brown colored door so I spray painted it grey to match and I also changed out the brown hardware for silver.
