Excellent Outdoor Fan – Easy Setup and Great Performance
I recently installed the Obabala Ceiling Fan with Lights and Remote on my patio, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The setup was straightforward, and the instructions were clear, making the installation process quick and hassle-free. The fan operates smoothly and provides excellent airflow, which is perfect for keeping our outdoor space comfortable. The remote control is a convenient feature, allowing us to easily adjust the fan speed and light settings. The sleek black design fits perfectly with our farmhouse decor. Overall, a great addition to our outdoor area!

Nice fan, not an easy assemble
This is a very nice looking fan, I’m extremely happy with it. Please know that although it is nice when all is said and done, it’s extremely hard to assemble this fan. It is very time consuming. It took 3 of us to get this fan up and 2 of the 3 are engineers and assembling objects are what they do best! I’m giving it 4 stars because of the difficulty, a fan should not be this hard to put together and also for the grammar of the instruction book. Overall though, I am happy with this purchase! It’s definitely leveled up the renovations that we are doing!

Affordable outdoor fan
We had trouble at first , after following all directions the fan worked but two days later quit. It was getting power to it but the remote would not work. I wrote the company and they sent us a new remote and sensor. We replaced it and it has worked fine since in our outdoor kitchen. It gets extremely humid where we live and the blades have not warped yet so that’s a huge plus! My only concern would be that they should add a cord pull for situations when the remote may fail.

Don’t expect name brand quality
So first off let me start by saying I’m a certified journeyman electrician. Been doing this for years and have installed a LOT of ceiling fans. Always been name brands like Hunter or Harbor Breeze. Here is my review of this ceiling fan.Pros; cheap price. Which can attract more customers. It looks really good in the factory pictures. Quality is decent in person. Really fair at this price range.Cons; “cheap” feel when putting together. Here in the states black is your “line” and white is “neutral”. Not the case for the receiver. And good thing I double checked or may have fried it. Came with heat shrink on the black and white and just figured they put them on wrong until I looked in the manual and saw that’s how it said to do it, was flip flop from the “normal”. Canopy wouldn’t go on for crap and sits funny. But up higher, you’ll never really notice. And takes it a good second or two to turn on when you flip the switch. I noticed when you hit the light button, it changes the color mode. So once I look at it more, I’ll be able to tell if it works better from your existing switch or from the remote provided WITHOUT changing the color mode every time.Overall I give it a solid 6/10, or in Amazon standards, 3 stars. I think that’s very fair. You really get what you pay for. Longevity of the fan, well, only time will tell. But went up fairly easy and is working first try. If you’re not super picky, then this ceiling fan will beat the prices of store bought and name brand and look just as good on your ceiling. But you want better quality, go spend an extra $100 at a local store to you.
