Great Value!
Very happy with the quality of this knife set for the money. We really like the handles and how thick they are. The ones have a good weight to them and have all cut very well. We were looking for a new set for everyday use and are very happy with this set.

Long overdue knife upgrade
Had been using a haphazard set of mismatched, dull knives that I was incorrectly storing in a drawer. Decided to finally pull the trigger on this set of knives after an old dull knife slipped through cutting a bell pepper and caused the poor vegetable to catapult halfway across the room. The knife also slid across my finger, but luckily it was so dull I barely got a scratch.Well, this knife set arrived and I gotta say, what an upgrade. Love the completeness of the variety of blades that comes in this set, good for cutting meats, veggies, fish, taters, and for defending the house, in a pinch. The wood block they come with seems very chic and sturdy, and I appreciate the inclusion of the sharpening steel and the food scissors.These knives cut through bell peppers like butter. Which translates to less errant meat scraps falling to my dog and more even cuts for any food prep task. Iâm so grateful!Thereâs also a helpful guide in the box with some basic details on knife care, from which I learned that keeping my old knives in the cupboard and running them through the dishwasher may not have been great ideas.Oh well. She gone! (My old dull knives, I mean)Looking forward to seeing how long this set lasts. So far, Iâm pleased with my purchase.

Pretty good
Iâve owned Henckelâs knives for the past 25 years. I will say the quality doesnât seem as good as their older knives, but these are decent for the price.Also, theyâre not of one of their higher quality style knives, but they work.You really canât complain when you get a quality knife set for 125 bucks. They are pretty darn sharp. Hopefully they will stay that way. The sharpening steel was kind of disappointing because the hook that goes on it was jacked up. When you go to fix the hook, it just pops off of the top handle and then you notice the extremely cheap handle while trying to put the hook back in.It doesnât go through the entire top of the handle, like my old Henckels sharpening rod. That is my main gripe, but everything else is pretty decent thus far.

I have had a couple knife sets over the years and these are amazing. Great weight and ergonomic feel to them. Super sharp. The steak knifeâs feel great in your hand and cut the meat really well. Well made and good value. I highly recommend this set. I only wish the knife block was optional as I have a knife drawer with its a knife holder set up to keep my counter space freed up from having the knife block on it.
