Product Overview

The Gevi 10-Cup Drip Coffee Maker with Built-in Grinder is a versatile, all-in-one coffee solution designed for those who appreciate freshly ground beans and full control over their brewing experience. Combining a precision burr grinder with programmable drip functionality, this machine transforms whole coffee beans into rich, aromatic cups of coffee—right in your kitchen or office. With a generous 1.5L water tank and flexible brew capacity ranging from two to ten cups, it adapts seamlessly to both intimate mornings and larger gatherings. Whether you’re preparing a quick espresso-style shot or serving eight guests, the adjustable settings ensure consistent quality without waste. The included warming plate maintains optimal drinking temperature for up to two hours, while the reusable filter promotes sustainability by eliminating disposable paper filters.

Key Features

  • Adjustable Brew Capacity (2–10 Cups): Use the dedicated “POWDER” button to customize output based on your needs—ideal for small households or hosting friends. This flexibility prevents over-brewing when making just one cup or ensures enough coffee for a full breakfast spread.
  • Built-in Burr Grinder: Grind whole beans directly before brewing to lock in freshness, aroma, and flavor compounds that degrade quickly after grinding. The burr mechanism delivers uniform particle size for balanced extraction.
  • Pre-Brew Technology: A specialized hydration cycle saturates coffee grounds evenly using precise temperature control before full brewing begins. This step enhances flavor development and reduces bitterness, resulting in smoother, more nuanced cups regardless of bean origin or roast level.
  • Customizable Strength & Grind Settings: Choose from three grind levels (fine to coarse) and eight distinct brew programs to fine-tune concentration, volume, and intensity according to personal taste or occasion.
  • Programmable Keep-Warm Function: Maintains coffee at ideal sipping temperature for up to two hours. You can select exact warm durations from 0 to 120 minutes—perfect for busy schedules or slow-paced mornings where coffee shouldn’t cool down mid-batch.
  • Reusable Stainless Steel Filter: Comes with a durable, easy-to-clean filter that replaces costly paper alternatives. Simply rinse under running water after each use to keep it free of oils and residue.
  • Intuitive Controls: Features a minimalist interface with clearly labeled buttons for power, brew mode selection, grind adjustment, and timer settings—no complicated menus required.
  • Sleek, Portable Design: Compact black-and-silver construction fits neatly on countertops, dorm rooms, RVs, or outdoor setups. Lightweight yet sturdy, it’s built to handle daily use across various environments.

Benefits & Use Cases

This Gevi coffee maker excels in scenarios demanding freshness, customization, and convenience. For home baristas who prioritize flavor, the integrated burr grinder ensures peak freshness by minimizing oxidation during brewing. Office environments benefit from its quiet operation compared to blade grinders, while the programmable timer allows staff to schedule brews during low-traffic periods. Outdoor enthusiasts appreciate its portability—perfect for camping trips or tailgate parties where traditional espresso machines aren’t practical. Families enjoy the ability to scale output precisely: make just enough for two in the morning or switch to 10-cup mode for Sunday brunch. The pre-brew system also means better results across different bean types—from delicate Ethiopian light roasts to robust French dark blends—without constant manual tweaking.

Users frequently highlight the rich, full-bodied taste achieved through freshly ground beans and even saturation. Many note that the machine strikes an excellent balance between performance and affordability, offering café-quality results without the steep price tag of commercial-grade equipment. However, as with any multi-function device, there are trade-offs. Some customers report occasional inconsistencies in grind uniformity during heavy use, while others mention minor noise during the grinding phase—though this is typical for burr-style mechanisms. Regular maintenance, such as wiping the hopper and rinsing the filter after each cycle, helps sustain peak performance.

Important Notes & Care Instructions

Before first use, wash the glass carafe and reusable filter with warm, soapy water. Do not submerge the main unit or immerse electrical components in liquid. The glass pot may occasionally arrive damaged during shipping due to its fragility; if this occurs, contact Gevi customer support promptly for a replacement. Always unplug the machine before cleaning internal parts. To preserve flavor and prevent buildup, descale monthly using vinegar and water per manufacturer guidelines. While the 12-month warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship when purchased through authorized retailers, physical damage—including cracked carafes—is not covered unless reported immediately.

Despite minor drawbacks like noise during grinding or the need for routine cleaning, most users find the Gevi coffee maker delivers reliable, enjoyable coffee that justifies its position as a value-oriented all-in-one system. It’s especially recommended for newcomers seeking to elevate their home brewing game without investing in separate grinder and brewer units. Whether you’re gifting it for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas, or simply treating yourself, this machine brings thoughtful craftsmanship and everyday convenience together in one stylish package.

Best Option for Grind and Brew
My Krups grind and brew with large hopper broke after 12 years of use. Thinking I’d be getting an upgrade with the latest Krups model I was disappointed in the downgrade in quality of newer generations. Worse, like nearly all modern grind and brew coffee makers of any make, the hopper was limited to 1 pot worth of beans. And because the hopper is internal/under the lid, steam creates a mess of the coffee dust left behind in the hopper, requiring a daily ritual to clean and dry the hopper pieces. When this Krups model broke after only 1 year of use I set out to find a replacement that met all my needs. After searching Amazon and the internet at large, I could only find 3 brands that manufactured a grind and brew coffee maker with large hoppers. All but 1 were between $200 and $350 but with poor ratings and reviews. The Gavi grind and brew stood out as an affordable option that checked all the boxes. With no reviews to go on and a 4+ star rating, I gave this product a shot. Glad I did as this coffee maker has brewed very good coffee for over a month now. A big bonus vs. my old Krups machine: instead of using a large clockwork contraption over the basket that rotates from allowing coffee to flow in to closed position, this Gavi coffee maker uses a minimal open/close mechanism that has not clogged up once. This was a constant problem with the Krups machine requiring parts of it to be opened up for weekly clean out of built up coffee dust. This is a buy in my book.

    This one!
Don’t be fooled by the price point. This is such a better coffee pot than more expensive ones. Trust me, I’ve tried them all. It’s easy to set up. Grinds and makes coffee perfect and you can choose your cup setting which is so nice to save on coffee. Keeps coffee hot and has a long warming time. This is the coffee pot you want!

    Delicious coffee!
Just ordered my second one of this coffee maker. Received the other about 5 years ago and even though it is still working great, I just felt it was time to repurchase. Love the grinder on top. Saves counter space so a grinder doesn’t have to sit out. It can be a little complicated to program, but once you get the hang of it, it makes that morning cup of jo ready for you when you wake up a great start to the day!

    Good coffee
Bottom line, this machine makes good coffee. The grinder works well, the instructions are simple and easy to understand. The aroma of the coffee is wonderful and tastes just as good. The reusable filter is nice and I haven’t had any grounds in my coffee. The only negatives I have are the machine materials feel very cheap. The buttons feel very cheap, like they could fall off any moment. Most of the material feels like cheap plastics.Again, this machine does well, it makes a great cup of coffee and bottom line, that’s the important part. Good value for the cost.

    Works great
It’s preferential, but I have to keep the strength control on low because of how much the machine will grind under medium and strong. Other than that, it is an excellent coffee maker.

    Good coffeemaker, good price
I had a Capresso for 15 years (still works too!) so I looked long and hard for something new that is easy to use and, most importantly, easy to clean. The Gevi is both those things – the controls are easy to use and the removable parts clean up quickly with hand washing. (I don’t use the programming feature, because I don’t need it.) Once I settled on the right grind and the right measurement for the dark roast beans I favor it has been easy to get a good pot of coffee from the Gevi.

Attractive, good grind when it does it, but not good enough coffee.
We needed to replace a 15+ year old Cuisinart. As I grind my beans anyway, I thought a machine with a built in grinder was a good idea. The machine is rather attractive and sits under my kitchen cabinets with room to spare. I could use my retractable kitchen faucet to fill the reservoir. The carafe is flimsy and I would prefer an insulated one anyway as even 15 minutes in an open carafe on a warming burner causes bad coffee. The machine comes with a conical coffee scoop and cleaning brush. Instructions for cleaning the area where the grinds exit is not really clear & I had to use a flashlight to see underneath the brewing area. The grinder is not abnormally loud and the notification beeps are very soft.Upon arrival I cleaned the machine according to directions using white vinegar and rinsing multiple times. I weighed out 60 grams of coffee beans for 8 cups water (we like ours full bodied) and this was approximately how much we used in the Cuisnart. I set the machine 8 cups, medium grind (3rd setting) bloom and strong setting. The machine only ground some of the beans. After the brewing was done the coffee was extremely weak. I tipped out the remaining beans, weighing them and found that the machine had ground just over half of the original amount. So I tried another pot doing all the same as above but stopped the machine immediately after it stopped grinding the beans, which was again, only about half of the beans. (The ground beans looked about right for the setting, so the machine seems to grind to appropriate sizes.) I then re-started the machine and it ground the remaining beans and brewed the pot. This time the coffee was more acceptable but this is not a morning routine that I would like to have. (Weighing the beans is always more accurate than volume in a scoop.) The machine says to keep under 70 grams of beans so that the basket does not overflow so making a full pot, 10 cups, would not be possible to make with sufficient coffee grounds for us. The machine should not only let you choose the grind but the number of grams to be ground. We are returning the pot and will go back to grinding our own beans. Now just to test another machine, which we have ordered.
