Amazing
The stainless steel skillet and lid is great weight. The Quality is very good. Ease of cleaning. Makes great homemade sauces and has not stick anything to the pan. It’s great for saute. This is a win win.

A nice beginner pan
It’s a pan, it’s sturdy, the lid is nice. It is on the shallower side, but lots of cooking area so great for searing. It feels well built with a solidly attached handle, and definitely feels like good value for the money

why didn’t i buy stainless steel sooner
folks, it took me many years to distill this wisdom but here it goes:you must buy different pans for different reasons, period.1. non-stick pans are a must for eggs and pancakes. keep the temperature below medium and only use plastic spatulas. wash gently with soap and sponge. do not boil water in it.2. stainless steel. the secret super weapon. heats up quickly, sears quickly, distributes heat well, but will stick like crazy. you can and you will want to boil, sear, fry and cook anything in this pan. Even after meat has coated the bottom you can add water and soap and let it sit overnight. it will come right off.3. cast iron. if you want to cook thick meat and sear it nicely then this pan is for you. if you have seasoned the pan and are a pro at seasoning and cleaning then no sweat with this one. otherwise you will smell and maybe taste the iron. This particular pan was built well, looks great and cleans great. The stainless steel lid is a feature that’s very hard to find but is a must. I do think 12 inches is bigger than the needs of most people. I wish I bought one size down.

12.5 inch and higher sides
Handle is very good. Great size. Got it for under $30.00 April 2024 on discount. It’s 3 ply not 5 ply. It’s not the quality of Demeyere, Sardel, Made In, Legend or Heritage Eater series. But for 3 ply it’s heavy and large. Would make a great restaurant pan. Not a high end chef pan like the brands I listed above. Being a professional chef I own all the best. My advise pay more and buy 5 ply. …3 ply the sides eventually burn that won’t happen with 5 or 7 ply. This Banish is on the very high end of Chinese made 3 ply right up there with Merten Stauck, Cuisinart, Tramontina . It’s not super high end but for home use at 12.5 inches wide its a fine pan with good grip. Excellent beater pan.

Great Product for the Money
Great product quality. Nothing gets stuck on the rivets inside the pan with the way they’re flattened. Came with information on how to clean and care for it. It is quite a bit heavier than I thought it’d be, but I got used to be it pretty quickly. The handle shape is great for holding when I wash it or when I’m moving it around with a mitt on; no slipping issues. Honestly for the money, I couldn’t ask for much more. Most of the bad or low reviews I see on here from others are people who quite obviously don’t know how to properly cook, clean, or care for stainless steel cookware. Do a little research and learn how to properly cook with stainless steel, clean it (grab some Bar Keeper’s Friend), and care for it and it will change your cooking experience for the better and will last years longer than a non-stick pan ever will.

Best pan I’ve ever owned!
I’ve tried so many “NON-STICK” pans that didn’t last more than 1 year… I tried a stainless steel pan (Cuisinart brand’s), but no matter how much I tried, every for sticks like crazy on that thing, so I didn’t have high expectations from stainless steel pans, however, I found there are 3 plus, and 5 plus stainless steel pans and I was so curious. To cut a long story short, I gave a try on this pan although it wasn’t made in the US. (3 ply and this price. Why not?)I wanted to try this pan with making french toast that normally sticks like crazy.Look at the video!I didn’t stick at all. I could flip them easily without scrubbing! It heats up so quickly and maintains the heat very well.Tips for making this stainless steel pan nonstick pan.1. Heat the pan with “Medium” heat. This is so important. Don’t burn it heat it so high that causes the food to stick like crazy.2. After heating the pan for 45 sec – 1 min, try “a mercury test.” (Search mercury test on stainless steel pan) on YouTube.3. Once you see the mercury on the pan, don’t be shy to add oil.Wait 15 sec until the oil heats up.4. Food should be close to room temperature (not cold eggs or steak) and cooked. If you follow the above methods, it will work like a charm! It’s not a hassle once you get it.Easy to wash and maintain. I highly recommend them and I am thinking to buy different sizes of pans from this brand.

Finally an influencer’s product that doesn’t suck
Honestly, there’s zero complaints to be made about this pan. I was shopping for stainless steel cookware and didn’t want to bite the bullet on AllClad just yet. Also didn’t want to buy a grocery store brand like Cuisinart.I took the risk of buying this pan despite there being very little reviews or discussion about Babish pans online. However, I am pleasantly surprised. This pan is extremely high quality and performs very well. There’s minimal branding on it; just BABISH on the handle and then his logo on the bottom which you’ll rarely see.If you happen to be a fan of Andrew Rea, and need to buy stainless steel cookware, this is all you need. I’m happy to say it’s not an influencer scam and it’s the real deal. I can see why he uses his own cookware in his YouTube channels now; he wants to show you how legit it is.

I got this pan only because Babish himself is a chef, so I believed that this pan should satisfy me as a chef. And I was not wrong. It is excellent. Very lightweight and easy to handle, it cooked everything we’ve asked it to cook perfectly. Highly recommended.

This pan works like a dream if you follow the instructions. First pre-heat well, then use a little oil. If you do this it is non-stick and easy to clean.

Happy with the quality of the pen!
Sinisa –
The pan was good during the first few uses. But unfortunately, after only a dozen uses, the bottom of the pan twisted as you can see in the video. â¬50 spent in vain. Such a pan should last for several years. My recommendation, do not buy.
