Great value and style
I really like these stools. I like them so much, I bought a second set. I’m 230 lbs and these are stable and comfortable. The hydrrolics work well, but you do need to step off to raise them. They look quite elegant and seem sturdy, but do not recommend leaning back. They are comfortable but there’s little back support and after a couple hours you’ll want to adjust height or find another chair. For a breakfast nook they’re perfect, for a bar you might want something more comfortable. I have 2 of these at my kitchen penninsula which is great for socializing, eating a meal, or sitting down while chopping vegetables. I have the other 2 in my basement home theater as a second row of seating at a bar behind the couch. They’re comfortable enough to watch a film, but a double feature might have guests leaving early. I do think these are well made, but as other reviews have mentioned, the metal trim is a concern, one of mine has been dented from raising the hydrolics beneath a countertop, it’s not that noticible, but I was aware of that potential issue before purchase and have been careful. I think for the money, these would be hard to beat, but you really can’t lean back in them at much height if you’re a hefty adult.

These are beautiful bar stools! Very classy, comfortable and well built (GREAT Quality for the price point). I HIGHLY recommend this product!!!! The assembly instructions are very clear making the stools easy to assemble. Delivery was prompt as well. *** Ignore the negative reviews about “Plastic” trim pieces breaking and scratching, etc. There is absolutely NO plastic anywhere on the stool, other than the adhesive protective covering on the chrome that needs to be peeled off! Of course if you don’t peel it off it will scratch and look horrible over time because it is not meant to remain on the chrome. In addition, the stools are not wobbly if put assembled correctly.”***

Do not buy used!!
I have purchased this product as a set of two. But only one chair was received, the chair that was received had a crack at the back part and a scratch in the side. I understand it was used, but clearly this is in poor condition for sale and especially for the âusedâ price listed.Itâs a shame because the chair is actually pretty nice and easy to put together, but selling junk as âusedâ is poor business practice.Spend your money elsewhere or buy new.

Great modern look – Not for wood floors without protection
Update: Be aware and careful. These wore my wood floors down to the point I had to refinish/feather in some stain and protect. A required addition would be something to lay on the floor or cushioning on the bottom of these stools. The hard plastic is not nice to wood floors.Works great for my kitchen island, very modern look. Also plenty comfortable for a barstool although the backrest is short and further back than expected. Adjustable height works great, just be careful to not catch the backrest under your island/bar/whatever, it bends easily. Found that out the hard way. Except for that mistake, the barstools are very high quality, especially for the price.Pretty easy to put together, kind of have to balance the large parts to put it together, but not hard to do. The protective plastic covering is kind of a pain to pull off the chrome edges, but it can be done.Plenty satisfied, would buy more if I had room.

They’re aiiiight. But wouldn’t buy again.
I purchased a pair for my home. I do like the easy height adjustment, foot rest and how the color is true to the picture. However within a month, one of the chairs was wobbling from the base and has a nasty lean to it. It can no longer stand straight up and there is no way to tighten anything from the bottom.I did purchase the warranty but the website is so rinky dink that they are requesting forms that can’t even be found on the website and the “support” phone number that amazon has listed for any issues for purchasers isn’t even in service.In terms of comfort, don’t expect everyone to fit in these chairs. Especially if you’re thick or had a good ole BBL. You’ll be spilling over hunty! Also, the seat is shallow so although there is a back rest, b/c the of the size and slope of the chair, if you try to lean back into it, you literally slide right off. Like damn!They’re cute, but not worth it. Find something else y’all.
