Product Overview
The HappyTrends 2 PCS Kitchen Mat set offers two heavy-duty, cushioned anti-fatigue floor mats designed to provide lasting comfort during extended periods of standing. Perfect for kitchens, laundry rooms, offices, and other frequently used spaces, these mats are engineered to reduce foot fatigue, back discomfort, and joint strain by supporting better posture and circulation. Constructed from premium PVC material that’s phthalate-free, latex-free, and odor-free, each mat delivers reliable durability without compromising on softness or safety. The waterproof surface resists spills and liquids, while the non-slip design ensures stability on a variety of indoor flooring types—from tile and hardwood to laminate and marble. With a neutral black finish, these mats blend effortlessly into any home or office environment, offering both function and subtle style.
Key Features
- Comfort & Anti-Fatigue Design: Each 0.47-inch thick foam mat helps improve blood flow and eases pressure on feet, knees, and lower back—making it ideal for cooks, servers, assembly line workers, or anyone who stands for long durations.
- Anti-Slip Stability: Featuring a textured top surface and beveled edges, the mat remains securely in place on flat, dry floors such as wood, ceramic, laminate, marble, and concrete. This design minimizes the risk of slips and trips, enhancing overall safety.
- Premium PVC Materials: Made with high-quality, non-toxic PVC that contains no phthalates, latex, or strong odors. This ensures a safe, eco-friendly option that maintains its elasticity and softness even after repeated daily use.
- Waterproof & Easy to Clean: The water-resistant surface allows for quick cleanup—simply rinse with cold water or wipe with a damp cloth after spills. After cleaning, air dry for hassle-free maintenance and long-term performance.
- Multi-Purpose Versatility: Use under sinks, in front of stoves, at workstations, or in high-traffic entryways. The large coverage area supports natural movement and reduces localized pressure points during stationary tasks.
- Neutral Aesthetic: Available in classic black, these mats complement modern, minimalist, and traditional interiors alike without dominating the space.

Benefits & Use Cases
The HappyTrends dual-pack anti-fatigue mat system is specifically crafted to enhance comfort and support in environments where prolonged standing is common. Whether you’re chopping vegetables in the kitchen, doing dishes near the sink, folding laundry, or working at a desk, the cushioned surface helps minimize muscle tension and joint stress caused by hard flooring. The generous size (17.3” x 28”) provides ample room to shift your weight naturally, promoting healthier posture and reducing fatigue throughout the day. Users often report noticeable relief from aches associated with standing on unforgiving surfaces, making these mats a practical upgrade for home and workplace wellness.
The neutral black color ensures seamless integration with virtually any décor style—from contemporary apartments to rustic homes. Beyond comfort, the mat’s durable construction means it resists wear and tear over time, maintaining its shape and supportive qualities. Its ability to conform slightly to foot movement also encourages more balanced weight distribution, which can contribute to improved alignment and reduced long-term musculoskeletal strain.
Because the mat is lightweight yet firm enough to stay in place, it’s easy to reposition when needed, offering flexibility across different rooms or tasks. The inclusion of two identical mats makes it simple to cover larger areas—such as placing one near the stove and another by the laundry sink—or to replace one if it becomes worn over time.
Important Notes
- For optimal grip and safety, always ensure the mat is fully opened and placed on an even, flat, and completely dry surface. Moisture or debris underneath may compromise adhesion and lead to slippage.
- Do not use permanently outdoors, as prolonged exposure to sunlight and weather conditions may degrade the material over time.
- Wrinkles may occur during shipping due to compression during transit. These can typically be removed by placing the mat in direct sunlight or gently steaming/wiping with a hair dryer until smooth.
- Before installation, clean and dry the floor thoroughly to maximize the mat’s non-slip performance.
- Package includes exactly two mats; dimensions are approximate and may vary slightly (±0.5 inch) depending on manufacturing tolerances.
- Always allow the mat to air dry completely after cleaning to preserve its integrity and prevent mold or mildew development.

Easy to clean
When I first got the product yes there was a slight crease in the mats but went away quickly. I love the feel of them because I have bad knees so standing long periods helps with the pain while doing my dishes. Also when they look dirty just wipe up with soap and water or something wet. It saves on having to put them in the washing machine to wash like normal rugs.

Great product!
Color was perfect. It came out exactly as I expected. Mats are very soft and offer the support I need standing on them as I cook or do dishes. My feet no longer hurt. Great purchase!!

Great, but too narrow
I wish I had gotten these a long time ago. Who knew?!I’ve had a 14% disability in my lower back since 2015. It’s not bad enough to be disabled, it’s just bad enough to cause extreme pain. When I cook a full meal, my back hurts so much that I don’t have an appetite when I’m done. I typically cook on Friday to prepare for the Sabbath and Holy Day (Sunday), non cooking days. I’m on my feet all day and I’m out of commission for the next 24 – 48 hours. I’ve hesitated to get stress mats for the kitchen because my husband is likely to trip and fall on them. For some time now, kitchen appliances and tasks have become a danger zone for him and he’s no longer allowed in the kitchen. I finally realized the risk is minimal, so I ordered the stress mats.Oh my gosh! What a difference they make. There is no reason to suffer backache or even a tired back and legs and feet. I have authentic hardwood flooring in the kitchen, meaning, real wood and no concrete subfloor, so the best type of floor for standing a long time. I can feel a big difference between spending most of the day on the concrete slab part of the house and the hardwood part of the house. If you work, you’re probably on concrete all day, then you go home and you’re still on concrete all evening. The day will come when you suffer what concrete flooring is doing to your spine. I know home floors feel like relief but they aren’t doing less damage to your body. If you are standing or sitting with your feet on the floor, get the mats.I wouldn’t use a standard vacuum on the mats, too harsh. A stick vacuum works better, lighter and still effective. You can wipe the mats down with a cloth and mild detergent (Dawn & water sprayed on) Easy to care for. There’s a little factory stink when the mats are first opened, but the smell dissipates pretty quick.I have gray, non-skid rugs in the kitchen. When I was reviewing the mats, I had taken rug measurements so I would know the size mats I wanted. My rugs are 20×30 and 20×60, there are no mats in those sizes, and smaller anything doesn’t suit me. I bought the closest size available and I placed the mats under the rugs, gray rugs and gray mats. The reason I did it that way is two fold. I don’t care for the industrial look of the mats and the rugs are about 3″ wider and I want the wider. I have a size 6 foot and the 17″ width of the mats doesn’t give me the foot print width that I want when I turn or step as I work. We have an awareness as we step from one surface to another, 20″ provides a comfortable step pattern as I step from floor to rugs/mats. A few inches can make a big difference between unconscious walking around the kitchen and having to be mindful of the edge of the mats. The mats have an idea thickness for comfort and fluid movement. I don’t want to sink into a mat with every step and I do want cushioned comfort when I’m standing in the same place for awhile. I weigh 90 pounds, so I considered my weight vs. the thickness of the mats. I almost forgot to mention, the mats disappear completely under the rugs and it doesn’t look weird, prefect.Yeah, I might be an over thinker, but I try to get it right the first time so I don’t have to deal with dissatisfaction and returns. I also like to provide informative reviews so you can consider my perspective with your needs. The only feature against these mats is, they need to be at least 3″ wider. I don’t stand at my refrigerator, but I would have preferred a 3-piece set for consistency (a mat to go in front of my fridge so it will look the same as the other two rugs/mats).

Alright
So I had very high hopes for these but they were a little bit of a let down. For one the way they have them packaged so tightly in a roll like a poster one of them has very deep lines/creases in it (multiple) that have not gone away and itâs been weeks and Iâve tried vacuuming it flat, standing on them, rubbing them out, and no luck so it makes me kind of embarrassed to even have it in my kitchen for when guests come over. They also are not super thick or comfortable, I mean itâs more comfortable then standing on the bare floor however not by much and these def wouldnât get you through a long period of standing like some of the other mats Iâve used in the past. I knew I shouldnât have tried the cheaper way out by getting these at a low price for 2 of them, I should have spent the 10$ extra for ones a little better but lesson learned

Very Comfortable
I use these in front of my bathroom sinks under the small throw rugs and they are very comfortable. It’s nice to be able to stand on something softer than a rug on a tile floor while shaving or any of the morning duties in front of the bathroom sink.
