Looks great, instructions lacking.
You should have a basic level of assembly competence before attempting this install as the instructions are quite weak. They fill the bill but you’ll scratch your head a couple times. Once installed it looks great. The shelves are quite sturdy. My original intention was to place my Atmos receiver on one of the shelves but this is really only for accessories. The only real quality qualm is the cable trays on the sides. They are held by one small screw. One of mine broke off while pulling a HDMI cable through. I hope the vendor reaches out to me if they read this as I would like a replacement. All in all excellent product!

Definitely nice
But omg it was a pain to put together. Itâs actually not âdifficultâ but between all the little pieces that go together, the steps in the instructions require your undivided attention. I bought 2 so once I finished one I could put the other together with no issue but there are a lot of minute yet integral steps that must be followed and the instructions donât clearly explain how some parts work. But once theyâre up there, they feel really sturdy and it somehow feels worth it. Haha

Worst experience building it but i love it regardless
first off building this is a nightmare, the plastic covering are bent and warped had to break and crazy glue them to get them to go straight, the glass is held by plastic pieces which i don’t trust living in earthquake country. i used sticky tack to hold the glass shelves in placeI bought this for my external hard drive docking stations, i wanted them off my desk so i don’t accidentally hit them and this model has the highest metal bar height; allowing me to set each shelf with plenty of clearing space to pull the drives in and out of the station. overall after building it, i love it!answers to common questions1. weight: can hold about 15-17 pounds if the screw are drilled into the wall but can hold more if you drill into the wooden studs2. to short to hold modern day consoles3. shelves are metal but you attach plastic nobs to hold the glass and they are slippery! use sticky tack!4. shelves are poorly designed they tend to tilt downward and this is where the sticky tack helps5. the instructions are lacking will take a while to figure out what you have to do, the tricky part is making the shelves you have to screw 4x metal plates together and in the right order!Recommended tools to use1. small hammer2. long neck screwdriver (i used 8 inch) you will need this to make little adjustments to level the shelves3. sticky tack, this is a must to keep the shelves from slipping from those smooth plastic holders4. glue, to fix the plastic covers, and from reading comments its common you get a few thats warped or broken5. drill bits, makes it easy to pre drill the holes6. level tool this is a must to make sure your shelves are level as they tend to tilt downward and use the sticky tack to fix that problem

Not that great. Shelves are smaller than I expected
Not that great. Shelves are smaller than I expected. I don’t see any reason why the sides have to look like a comb considering they serve no purpose and those sides come in 6 pieces making it look seperated no matter what you do. The instruction literally included no words and the pictures are so small you cannot make out what they want you to do. It took less time to mount my TV than to add this. Many things could have been pre-assembled to save time, headache and error. While the thing does allow for cord housing, it doesn’t allow enough room for all of the cords of a cable box, TV, modem and game system. Considering it gives you 3 shelves and is designed to run under a tv,it should allow that many cords. Cheap enough I guess but not that great.

A Great Device.
This is our 2nd purchase. We purchased and installed in our condo 6 years ago and had to leave it behind when we moved. It is sturdy and hides the device cords just great. We bought this one after relocating to our house. Very happy with both.

Instructions are very vague and sturdiness is questionable
Normally I build my own shelfâs but I decided to buy this to make it quicker and easier as Iâm remodeling my bedroom and bathroom, Iâve rebuilt motors, and completely remodeled homes so Iâm really good at working with tools and putting things together.First one of the shelfâs arrived broke, no big deal I can cut another piece of glass so I continue to put it together or try to due to the fact that instructions are very vague. They give you plastic anchors to hang this on the wall, plastic anchors are OK for hanging pictures, but not OK for mounting shelves that have expensive electronics on it.I found wood studs in the wall and use 3 inch Long wood screws to secure it to the wall, after I finish putting everything together and mounting it I found this to have a lot of flex on it and potentially having expensive electronics falling off.Not worth taking the risk of having expensive electronics hit the floor for a small items. Iâm sure would be fine, thatâs not what it was advertised for.I will be sending this back go back to building my own shelves.I hope this helps someone and for those who decide to buy it and put it together I would strongly suggest going to college and obtaining a four-year engineering degree and then a prayer wouldnât hurt either.
