It makes it easy for me to turn on/off the lights in the room with just my voice. You can also link several lights to one room and enable all the Govees in that room to turn on simultaneously. Itâs such a simple process. I also recommend mixing different shaped lights to create depth (for example, govee monitor lights and led strip lights). Govee is the only RBG smart lighting Iâll buy.Pros:*The app is simple and intuitive to use*I love RGB lights, as this allows me to choose any color combination. Exactly what I needed

Great lighting effects but colors are a bit off compared to other govee lamps
I really liked these TV bars and they provide a solid amount of light cast off the wall. I have these behind my couch and they go perfectly on the runner console I have behind the sofa. I originally had them under my tv cabinet but they give off so much light that it was a waste to cover them up so moving them to an area where they had more exposure got the most value of it. My one issue with these and why I can’t give them five stars is that the orange and warmer light tones don’t match with the other govee lamp products and their lighting codes. The same warm light at 2200k or whatever the value is appears more yellow than soft white as it does on other govee lights. I am able to get around this by making the light orange in the settings and that matches the warm light better, but it makes it hard to just give my home assistants the command to change them all to candlelight for instance. Still happy with these and way cheaper than a phillips hue alternative. I would say these are 70-80% as good as a Phillips hue product but the price makes it way more competitive since you can buy a few of these lights for the same cost as one hue product, and depending on where you’re using the lighting, the real benefit of one over the other is just keeping the products the same family/line so you can do home automation more easily. If you don’t care about home automation and plan to use the colors statically, it you can probably get something even more basic than govee, but if you want the best color tones and a somewhat seamless interface across all your lights, you get what you pay for with hue products. This is a great middle ground though and if you stick with all govee it makes it just as usable for home automation as hue products. I just wouldn’t mix and match.

Perfect For My Application
I recently purchased these light bars and they are exactly what I was looking for to add some ambient light to my living room while watching tv or just relaxing. Some reviewers have said they had problems with the adhesive discs that come with the lights. I have found just the opposite is true. I applied each light to the back of my 60 inch tv using the included brackets (that use these adhesive discs) and they were rock solid from the start and haven’t been an issue since. The Govee brand has always delivered quality products in my experience. The Govee App is almost overwhelming with a dizzying array of color options, scenes, and even music/light integration. Bonus: I purchased these lights during Prime Big Deal Days and the price was significantly discounted. Highly recommended.

Itâs Govee, whatâs not to love?
Theyâre well made, they do what is advertised, and theyâre not overly expensive. I have many of the Govee products and am very happy with all of them. These lights are on the top of the cabinets in the kitchen and point up at the 14â ceilings. Theyâre bright and cheery and I donât have to get the ladder out to change them or charge them. Highly recommend all of the Govee products!
