The installation process is very simple. The lock body is well-designed, and by following the instruction manual step by step, the installation was completed in less than 30 minutes. Easy to install
Having never installed a doorknob before, I found the process very straightforward. My only issue was after inserting the latch, I accidentally shut the door before the knob was installed. We made it work and got everything installed in under 30 minutes. The app is very easy to use. I love that in addition to actual keys, you receive keyless fobs. You can also setup codes for multiple users. Just know that the default for the outer doorknob is to be locked – make sure you have the key in hand or codes setup before testing it – lest you lock yourself out.

Less than what I hoped
Not a great purchase. I got locked out of my home, thus the reason to get this, figuring it would be next to impossible to get locked out again with so many ways to unlock this knob.Once purchased I was unable to get it to link with an Echo, to be able to use Alexa and voice controls, after multiple attempts. I ended up buying a hub (another $30) to use with it, so I could use wifi, opposed to the built-in Bluetooth (cannot use Alexa with the hub).When using wifi to unlock the knob, it never works the first attempt. It needs to time out the first attempt, then unlocks right away the second attempt.Using a key to unlock the knob is awkward, due to having to turn the knob at the same time as turning the key, only in one direction.The fobs that come along with it are fine, but they feel like they will break over time.Finger prints have been added multiple times, and they keep getting deleted due to ânetwork errorâ. I have stopped re-adding fingerprints due to they will just get deleted again.There is no way to lock the knob outside of the app. There should be a button or lever to manually lock the knob, without needing my phone to do so. If anything happens to this knob electronically, it cannot be locked.I would return this knob for a different style, but then I would be without a doorknob after I send it in and wait for the replacement. Too expensive to not be happy with it.

I purchased this instead of prior one. Itâs easy to install and use. My kids like fingerprints scan. The best part is that I can send a one time code when cleaner needs to get in. I recommend this product.

It was very easy to install and took 10 minutes. The installation is secure and the product is sturdy. It looks nice and you can set up many different passcodes for different people.The Bluetooth connection was difficult and only on one our family phones. It should be much easier.Once the Bluetooth connection was made, programming the fingerprints was easy.The fingerprint reader, the new keys, the app, and the key fobs work well to unlock.Every time someone unlocks, the app notifies you that it has been unlocked.It requires 4 AA batteries for power and can have USB-C backup to power up from the outside, if the batteries die.I could not set up the Amazon Alexa connection to it. Just too hard.
