Very sturdy!
We actually used this for a very heavy barn door! Amazing quality! The door is very thick to help straighten out the original barn wood.

Not as easy as it looks!
The printed instructions are almost useless. Watch the video attached to the advertised item. It is more informative. Use your own measurements for all holes. The steel bar is clunky because you have to hammer it together to make the 3 ft length. The pieces donât fit perfectly so the door doesnât track smoothly on the bar. If I was to do it again I would buy an item with the correct size bar in one piece.

Construction is weird
The finished product looks good (I used this to hang a rustic framed mirror I made, but the way the pieces attach together was a pain. The first time I tried to attach to the wall, the bar fell apart. It was also difficult to make sure it was straight on the wall because, before it was bolted to to the wall, the bar was kind of curved. It might have been user error but if I knew the problem I would run into beforehand, I would probably go with something else.

Preface: Ignore the mess in the photo, work is ongoing!I needed an easy solution to open up a hard-to-reach corner of a kitchen cupboard and ended up making an opening the other side since it faces the living room. This sliding door mechanism was super easy to install and became a decorative feature as well. I sanded and stained a piece of plywood with Varathane gel stain in provincial and added a handle left over from another project and I really like the look with the mechanism. Thanks!
