The Cooks Standard one-piece Stainless Steel canister set includes one each of: 0.95 qt/0.9 L, 1.6 qt/1.5 L, 2.5 qt/2.4 L, 3.5 qt/3.4 L, canisters with lids. Canisters are made of premium 18/10 Stainless Steel that is ideal for food storage. Bpa, paint, and phthalate-free. Tempered glass cover is heat and shatter resistant. Wide rim with silicone gasket to seal the canister. Can be used for storing Coffee, tea, sugar, flour, and other dry foods. Not recommended for liquids. Stainless Steel canisters are dishwasher safe, hand wash and dry immediately recommended to keep shine. Lid with seal is not dishwasher safe as silicone gasket may deform with heat.

These are very nice
I do not write reviews unless Iâm extremely happy or unhappy with a product. These are very nice. Sturdy, made well, and perfect sizes (large size ordered). Many reviews state the lids are too hard to open. They are definitely snug, but thatâs what you want for storing food product. They open fine if you hold in one hand while pulling the lid with the other. Iâm very happy with these. Very modern looking too.

Good quality but defective lid. seller sent replacement boxes for defective pieces.
The steel quality is good. The lids fit well for 3 of them. 1.6 qt one’s lid does not fit well. also the same canister has stains which wont go after washing. Also the 0.95 qt lid doesnt close properly. it is not airtight.Update – Reached out to seller. Immediately sent out replacement of the defective pieces. These pieces seal well. Happy with the service.

Great Item, Great Price
I had been looking for a nice set of canisters for a long time. Most of what I saw was pre-labeled “Flour, Sugar, Coffee, Tea, or some other variation. Or, they were not truly airtight. Or, they were just too small in general. I am a home baker, and needed something that would not only be attractive in my kitchen, but would be sturdy, hold an airtight seal, and be large enough to suit my needs. The largest of the canisters easily holds 7 lbs of flour. The next size holds 5 lbs of flour. The next holds at least 3 lbs of sugar and the smallest, about 2/3 a bag of brown sugar. The seal is SUPER tight. You can lift the canister with the 7lbs of flour by its lid (I did this as a test…I would NOT recommend carrying across a distance in that manner!). As for the complaints about having to constantly wipe off fingerprints, I followed the advice of another reviewer, and wiped a very small amount of olive oil onto the sides, then using a dry paper towel , wiped them completely dry. I use these canisters daily, and other than a quick dusting off, I only have to re-oil about every 2 weeks or so. I absolutely recommend these canisters. Their sleek design would go well with just about any kitchen décor, and are worth every penny!

This canister set is made for giants!
If you were a baker, itâs probably perfect, but from the picture, you can see my old canister set on the right and the new canister set on the left. This new Canister set is massive! I poured a 5 pound bag of flour into the second biggest Canister and thereâs room for another pound or two of flour!!I am only using the three smallest canisters for tea, sugar, and flour because the fourth canister is huge enough to be a cookie jar.Other than that, they are pretty and well-made.

Replaced 20+ yr old hammered copper kitchen canister set with new stainless steel set.
My new stainless steel/glass lid kitchen canisters arrived last night – replacing my ancient, very worn out 20 yr old Old Dutch hammered copper canister set. I can’t get them clean enough anymore, and the thin copper coating has left rusty-looking rings on my 70 yr old formica counter tops that even Bar Keepers Friend cleanser won’t remove. This stainless steel set seems to be heavier gauge – more like the Revere Ware set my grandmother had. Nice heavy glass lids with airtight silicone seals. Generous sizes, too. Can’t wait to clean them up and start using them.ð

Exactly what I was looking for, well made, attractive and exactly the size I expected. The largest works well for flour, the next largest for sugar, etc. Seals well and easy to clean. I use them inside my pantry, but they would look fine on the counter as well. Seems like a very caring and considerate supplier, although I had no direct contact since they arrived perfect.

I debated for weeks on ordering these because of the price, but they are worth every penny. They look lovely on the counter. Hold a lot of flour, sugars and salt, I’m an amateur baker so this is important to me. I am a senior and do not have trouble with removing the lids, but someone with weak hands may have issues.Very happy with this purchase. Thank you.
