NOT dissapointed in the least!!
I can not believe the quality of this runner for the money. It is not only vibrant and beautiful. It feels so good under foot. It is a heavy weave and so well made. We have it in a hallway off an external door. It traps the dirt and then vacuums right up. Both our dog and cat love to lay on because it is so thick and plush. It looks amazing. The only issue we had was a faint odor after we opened the plastic, not a chemical smell, more like an earthy smell like jute and lots of fiber loss when we first laid it down. The smell lasted about a day or two and the, “shedding” began to dissipate after the first vacuuming and is no longer an issue. I hope you enjoy yours as much as we do.

Love it! But a few things to consider if youâre considering this rug-* Itâs wool and it shedsâ¦not so much that youâll see it, but when you go to empty your vacuum, especially the first few times you vacuum it, you will definitely notice the wool tufts. The first 2 times it actually clogged up the tube on my careless vac, but each time I vacuum there is less and less.* Itâs HEAVY- I ordered the 10â x 14 size and even my sweet UPS guy struggled with it bringing it up to my porch. It took both my husband and I a good five minutes just to get it in the door.* It came folded ð¤·ð¼ââï¸ not sure why it wasnât rolled for easier shipping so I was crossing my fingers as we unfolded it that there wouldnât be any lines and creases and to my surprise there were none. The rug layed down completely flat. ðð»* Itâs thick- so keep that in mind depending on where you plan to place itâ¦it may not allow some doors to open over the threshold because of the thickness.* There is no non-slip backingâ¦the back (see my photos) is soft, so I choose not to use a rug pad. I did use some rug grippers (one on each corner) just in case, to keep from curling upâ¦after a couple of months I may remove them because they really arenât necessary once the furniture is on itâ¦between the weight of this rug and weight of the furniture itâs not going anywhere!* I ordered the green/multi color and absolutely love it. We have a lot of terracotta, greens, and cream colors in our home and this ties them all in perfectly. In person it looks exactly like the photos. It has tiny hints of blues and gold as well as the terracotta, greens etc.*Price- you get what you pay for when it comes to rugs, and while this is by no means some heirloom rug to pass on to generations ð¤ I think the price point of around $525 (at my time of purchase) is very reasonable. Itâs definitely not cheap, but to put it in perspective, there are some wool rugs out there costing $15k and more! ð¥´ðµâð«* The rug actually came a day sooner than expected. I highly recommend making sure that the one you choose is shipped and sold by Amazon thru Amazon Prime and not a third party seller. For something this expensive and this HEAVY, youâll want to make sure that if something goes wrong that you have the free ship/free returns that Prime provides.* â ï¸â¦ If you have a cat! ð this will be their new favorite scratching post ðâ¦since we keep our catâs paws trimmed and rounded off it hasnât been an issueâ¦no loose or pulling threads. After a few stern no-noâs heâs finally losing interest but still worth mentioning.So yep, I love it. I think itâs comfortable under foot and barefoot. Would love to eventually put another in the dining room and bedroom as well.âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸

I was looking for the perfect 2×16 runner for awhile, found this and the rest is history!Stunning against the hardwood and colors and perfect. Okay, let me say it is very thick wool tufted and I am in love. Hasent shifted since it’s been down and vacuuming is fine.Very very happy with this purchase. Don’t hesitate you will be happy.

Beautiful sculptured rug
6×9 size. I love this rug and so do the dogs. We got it because dogs are getting old and needed traction when getting down from furniture. Colors are vibrant, 3d effect with the weave. It does shed very badly at first. Our iRobot has no problem going over it. Iâve been vacuuming by hand along with iRobot every day to get the shedding under control but have no doubt from other reviews it will eventually stop. It is heavy enough to stay in place with no rug pad.

Thick and warm wool rugs
Update: Iâve had the rugs now for a month and Iâm finding that my robot vacuum cleaner is pulling out a lot of the wool and damaging some of the tufting . So please be careful if you use a heavy duty, sucking vacuum like a Dyson or a robot vacuum. I have discontinued using my robot in my living area while I look for a good alternative to vacuum these rugs because I love the look of them and their warmth .I love these hooked rugs. I bought 3 sizes for my living room. They are machine made so they are affordable, but they have the thick feel and warmth of a hand hooked rug. Perfect for my house, which is built on slab so it gets pretty cold in the winter. And the colors are exactly what I wanted to tie my warm furniture colors in with the gray walls I inherited from the previous owners who had painted just prior to selling to me. I just put them down today so we shall see how they hold up and how easy they are to clean. I suspect my robot vacuum will have trouble with them, but I have alternative vacuums and for the warmth these will provide I wanted them to be thick.
